This restaurant is a little different than most, it feels like visiting grandma at her farm house.. in the best kind of way.The outside has many picnic tables on a grassy area, as well as a patio with metal tables and chairs. The outside eating areas are pet friendly, and I saw several small dogs enjoying their family outing. There is also tables inside with wooden benches and chairs. You order at a register and sit down with a numbered plastic tent. There is a little section to get your own drinks, sugar, creamer, condiments, etc.The food quantities are Texas big, and the quality is amazing. I ended up getting way too much food, so I left with to-go boxes. I got the Forky Bowl; which is a bacon, egg, and cheese scramble over the top of a huge layer of tater tots. I also got the Banana Foster pancakes.. which are as big as the plate. You can tell that the place is 5/5 because the restaurant is busy with customers. There was a bit of a line, but the employees were quick to try to take care of everyone.I am so happy that I tried this place, and I will definitely be back! Just be sure to check their hours because they are breakfast and lunch only.

I don't usually give reviews but I'm visiting from Florida and this is by far the best breakfast I've ever had.

It was a girl's day out & we checked out The Rooted Fork . Has a welcoming vibe.Charming old house in Cibolo on Main Street converted into a restaurant ,rustic interior with donated forks that are covering most of the walls. Serving food made with locally sourced fresh ingredients. We decided to try the scrumptious "The Healthy Way" & "The Texas Breakfast ".Generous portions! We also ordered the "Banana Foster Pancakes", way too sweet for us.Friendly staff. Great service.Limited hours: Breakfast & Lunch from 8:00am – 2:30pm Wednesday through Sunday .Outside dinning.A must-visit destination for breakfast or lunch! *Cibolo is an Indian word meaning "buffalo." The City of Cibolo was named after the creek that flows through the area.Parking: Free parking on the side of the restaurant as well as a nearby parking lot .Kid-friendliness: High chairs. Careful with kids running around the outdoor picnic tables in front, because it's close to the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, restrooms, seating & Parking.

Fantastic spot to have breakfast! The staff is incredibly friendly and turned very enthusiastic the moment I mentioned it was my first time visiting. They will take the time to describe meal options and will offer suggestions based on their personal favorites. The food and seasonal drinks are all delicious! The restaurant has a cute hometown feel and decor with indoor seating, however, there are also many options to sit outside and enjoy breakfast outdoors (when the weather is nice of course).I highly recommend stopping by, it's worth it!

Had the Egg Beni's and substituted with shrimp, very delicious. Banana Foster Pancakes are amazing and very large. Service was good, ordered our food quickly. Located in Cibolo Main Street, can sit inside or outside.

We finally made it about 30 mins prior to closing. A warm nice welcome and great host cashier and the few staff we came across. The food is very flavorful and made to order hot. The first day laced I've experienced with very good flavorful and tasty good fresh quality food made above the rest. My top pick for breakfast and brunch but price a little costly but not a deterrent.

Delicious, freshly prepared food, great place for brunch. Good coffee. If the weather is nice, sit outside. It's a cafe, do you order at the counter and seat yourself. I enjoyed the Nutella toast.
