We saw the server one time. When she took our order. Never came back to check on us or ask if we wanted anything else. The food is nothing special. Salt shaker was empty and the shaker had dried sauce in the ridges. The chip basket had dried sauce on it. The food was nothing special. My cup of coffee tasted like water and had someone's hair in it. It did not belong to us.

I don't know how to explain how bad this place was. The best part was the waitress. She was great. But the food was awful. The sour cream had a thick, short hair in it. The chicken in the fajitas was almost raw in the middle and tasted old. The tortillas had an alcohol taste to them and the queso tasted like salty hot milk. The water tastes like it's from a toilet and the soda was the same. I checked the front for a food safety grade and they didn't even have one which I believe is against the law. Not ever coming back here again.

Rio Verde restaurant is near our home so we went for dinner. We had a great conversation with the owner. The food was good. I had enchiladas with rice and beans.

Edit: Unfortunately this place has gone way downhill. They put tap water in their salsa to stretch it and it's disgusting. If you can manage to get the fresh stuff it's great, but there's no telling. It's a complete roll of the dice. We used to love this place so much, and it really makes us sad that the quality has deteriorated.Original review from several years ago:Absolutely love this place. I specifically asked if the tortillas were at least put in a hot plate or a comal I know they're not homemade she said yes, I had to send them back and the food was not authentic they put chili on the enchiladas not enchilada sauce I guess down south set the bar way too high for north Texas Mexican restaurants I miss my Mexican breakfasts no one opens early out here in these parts
