People were friendly but things have SERIOUSLY CHANGED!!! Brisket we received today was NOT TRIMMED of Excess Fat, Greens had way more stems and was chewy. In the last 6-8 months it seems someone is doing everything possible to increase profits even after raising prices. I used to be a big fan of Buffalo Creek and had followed them from Cleburne to the new location in Keene. Looks like we will be driving to Glen Rose for GOOD BBQ. I've had really good BBQ from Buffalo Creek for years prior but the last three trips prove whoever is running things needs to seriously reconsider how they are proceeding. Otherwise they will continue to see business from old and new customers dwindle.

Food overpriced small servings not much to choose from cost me $50 for two small plates the older lady that works there is not very friendly rushes you down the line she seems aggravated to be there usually a hole in the wall is the best place I about flipped out when she said $52 for two child's size plates definitely not worth it

This used to be our go to BBQ place to go. We live in Cleburne and was able to call ahead and give them our order. Always was ready when we got there picking up at take out windows. Now for last 3 weeks we have tried to call to order. No answer. Rings 3 times goes to voice mail. It isn't because we are to lazy to walk in. It is because we are older disabled couple. Very disappointed 😞 we Loved that bbq

All of times we've been to this place. We've always had a nice respectful warm greeting. This time was so sad we walked out on our order. I ordered the Texas trash bowl with Fritos BBQ sauce on chips. Young girl says what type of beans? I said regular beans, as she's putting them on I say oh that's plenty & her comment was that's all you get anyway & giggled. So I bite my tongue & not hurt her feelings. As my wife's waiting on her plate behind me I ask for a little BBQ sauce on top of the meat please. She's like oh no sir I'll have to up charge you extra BBQ sauce. I was like what..? Spending that kind of cash for over priced food as it is..! I have never been up charged for extra BBQ sauce anywhere in Texas or any other state. 75 cent. Each little container. So I've never seen the 2 there tonight will never go back as long as they are pulling that bs..... Just wow!

He and Paige are a delightful duo who strive to keep the customers happy and coming back for more. I'm telling you, if you haven't eaten here, you need to go try it out. You won't be disappointed!

I just bought a house down the street and we may be biased from eating fast good all weekend,but this was really good BBQ and the sides were excellent as well. We'll be back several times to make sure we test everything. I haven't had banana pudding that good since my granny used to make it.
I tried this place last night for the first time and the two young men that were working.There were super friendly and very accommodating to answer any questions on things. I'll be coming back here for sure.and would totally recommend this place for individual or family gathering

Had lunch on Monday, August 25, 2025. The turkey was perfectly moist and the cobbler and pudding were delicious. It was great to see Pam working there-she is always a blessing and so helpful!!
