A Taste of Honey by Honey Girl was such a sweet surprise. I had the opportunity to meet Miss Honey Girl herself, and she is truly one of the sweetest ladies ever. We were out of town for work and looking for a local spot to try, and I am so glad we decided to stop here. Friendly and delicious. We were traveling through and needed to eat - so glad we tried because it was the best hamburgers we’ve had in a long time, crispy fries and good prices too. Best of all made fresh and served with a smile. Definitely will go back if we’re in town. Only a few minutes off 59.
Absolutely delicious!
I ordered from A Taste of Honey and let me tell you… she did NOT disappoint! The smothered chicken was tender and full of flavor, the rice and gravy tasted like true Sunday comfort food, and those collard greens and pinto beans were seasoned perfectly. The candied yams were sweet and buttery, and that cornbread? Soft, warm, and exactly how it should be.
