I got a sliced Brisket sandwich and a chopped beef sandwich with sauce on the side and 2 small potato salads. I am 71 and disabled and live on a fixed income from SSI. I did a Google search on BBQ in Cleveland Tx and just picked 1..It's the 4th so I thought I would spend a little money I don't have.The brisket sandwich I ate was small and the meat was just slightly dry not very flavorful. The other sandwich was small too. Both sandwiches had a smallish amount of meat. Less meat than the 1 bbq joint in my small town of Coldspring where I had eaten the same 2 sanwiches several weeks earlier..The potato in the potato salads was a little undercooked! The potatoes had a little bite left and it basically tasted like yellow mustard, salt and little pepper but no other spices and zero mayo? If you had baked a potato a little underdone ..just a little and added some yellow mustard and just kissed it with maybe a 1/4 tsp. of maybe mayo?..The taste could be compared to kissing your sister or mother! ..lol plI had to add a slice of daves seeded bread . The roll looked to be the best part though ...a soft sour dough maybe? They did virtually nothing to the roll..no grilling butter or oil.I am diabetic so I had to use the daves bread slice cut in half..less carbs! The sandwich tasted bland even with me dipping the sandwich in there house bbq sauce.. which again; needed more flavor! It (being the sauce)was slightly biting and acidic and a bit bland. My hometown bbq GW Hickory Hut? was probably doing catering or had run out of food or maybe just off that day unfortunately. ?? GW is a a damn good pit master if it was him cooking?..the last time I ate there 3 weeks ago! THe same sandwiches were bigger and the meat softer The price for my bbq moment of weakness in Cleveland Tx. 26. and some change plus gas increasing the total to around 35$. The good things about Fat Floyds.I can list 1. the meat was fair..just ok.. and the bun which I did not eat; felt soft and super fresh..the sauce needed more fat and maybe a little love..but it is way better than other some places I have eaten and I would eat there again maybe just a plain meat order and add my own sauce and diabetic friendly bread. To me the meat should stand on its on w/o anything! Forgive my long winded review Mr. FAT FLOYD..I might want to eat at your joint again if you allow me! Let me add that GW BBQ in Coldspring was around 22+ w/o gas 3 weeks back ..bigger buns more meat!

The bark on the brisket was so perfect my eye produced a tear. Perfectly moist, great bark, not too overpowering smokey profile, great quality bread, great quality price & service. (I ordered no BBQ sauce and it was still moist)

Sausage was excellent, Ribs perfect well cooked, BBQ sauce excellent, potato was a little overly cooked, macaroni and cheese was tasty, baked bean has black beans and regular baked beans mixed together they was good but first time see the baked beans together like that. Fat Floyd's is always good. This time we got loaded fries, brisket quesadilla and a brisket pizza. Took some friends for their first time and they cant wait to get back. The owner (not Fat Floyd haha) is a sweetheart and always engages with the patrons. Get the as soon as you can.

We had a great experience! Isaiah helped customize my order (medical dietary restrictions) perfectly. My husband and I greatly enjoyed our food. Loaded Chicken bake potato, brisket and cheese less pizza ran through twice for an extra crisp as it's a hand tossed thickness. 😋 Also excited to support a fellow veteran owned business.
We were hungry and on a short lunch break so the food pics are half eaten 🤷🏾♀

Ate hear one time and it was good but have been by several times and they are always out of ribs what bbq place does that. Also the guy at the counter was like it was no big deal. So I said well I guess I’ll have to find somewhere else that has ribs and he looked at me and ok didn’t even bother to try to even keep me a a customer so good by fat Floyd’s there was no food and no customer service for sure

There's some amazing pizza here folks. They're got all the things you've grown to love about Texas barbecue, but I can't stress enough how good the pizza is. If you were thinking of doing little Ceasars, try their 8.99 Cheese pizza instead and support a local business.
Great food and good prices. Local Business I support. I eat the barbecue sandwiches and the links. My kids like the loaded potatoes. They have a drive-thru where you can go inside

Really sad, the last few times, we ordered on site. Get the food home and only get like a few pieces of meat. The price and portion size use to be worth the trip. We got 2 stuffed baked potatoes with suppose to be 2 meats.
