The waitress that we had was TERRIBLE! When she came to our table to get our drink order, she already had a bad attitude. She took forever to bring our 3 drinks. When we ordered, our son asked for the sour cream and guacamole on the side and not on the same plate as the quesadillas. When it arrived, the sour cream and guacamole were on the plate and was all over the quesadillas. We told her he wouldn’t eat them and she got pissed off and took the plate away. When she brought...read full review
Dont recommend this place AT ALL ! The sever poured sweet tea that was ALREADY consumed by a customer back into the tea urn and mixed it with new tea because the tea wasn’t sweet enough . The manager came over to the table and had an idgaf attitude and told us there was nothing she can do because it’s already been done and CONTINUED TO SERVE THE TEA TO OTHER CUSTOMERS!!! El Charro Mexican restaurant bar and grill in Clifton, Texas offers a variety of Mexican dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. The salsa and food are delicious, and some visitors have praised the cleanliness of the restaurant and the service they received. The street tacos are some of the best, with shredded pork available, which is seldom at larger chain restaurants. Sour cream enchiladas, with a choice of meat, are also a highlight. The rice, refried beans, and charro beans are good. While tortillas are not house made, they are still to liking. The Batanga drink, made with a secret ingredient by the knowledgeable waitstaff, was particularly enjoyed. The Tampequira dinner was also praised. El Charro is a regular for many, with flavor closest resembling South Texas, especially for the money and speed of receiving the food. Customers enjoy talking to the friendly staff.
