“We had a really great meal at El Potrillo when we came into town from Surfside. We’ll be pitting them on our list of favorite places to have Tex Mex and Spicy Margaritas! The spicy marg wasnt on the menu but they were happy to accommodate my request Super friendly staff, btw….and I highly recommend checking this place out.“

“This place is AMAZING!!! Not only do u get to eat in peace while your children play outdoor games, but the food and drinks are Awesome!!!! FINALLY! “0/2015: Again this place never fails, food was excellent, Chicken fried steak with the garlic mashed potatoes and the Fish and Chips were awesome. Reagan our server was very professional and very courteous.I stop by Saturday night (2/19/22). Very nice place and a very nice atmosphere. Freddy was the server and he was very professional and very courteous. The place was pack but he was checking very often that everything was right. The only issue and is not about the place is the parking area common to all the business in that street.“

“It's an old food truck but I'm giving it 5 stars for atmosphere because it's a classic food truck taqueria. I ordered the Quesabirria plate and it was top notch. The guy running the truck was by himself but cooked my food like a master chef. He spread a little chipotle sauce on the tortillas which really pumped up the flavor. Some of the best I've had. He gave me a free side of charro beans as well and they were great. Don't miss it if you're in the area, delicious! ?“

“It’s a nice place with diner vibes. I will say our waitress was one of the most cordial and gregarious person I’ve ever met! Charo was super sweet, helpful and welcoming. I was impressed with the historical setting as well with the causal family type vibe of the restaurant. The lunch menu was great, offering an excellent variety of tasty options and all well priced. We had a quick stop for lunch prior to our visit to nearby Surfside Beach. What a great find. Clean restaurant and restrooms too. Plenty of free parking. Nice area in Lake Jackson.“

“Went in with no expectations, and glad I did. The customer service was great. The ice cream is top tier. The chicken tenders and fries were really good. A bit salty but still good. 2 of my tenders were over cooked but by the time I finished my ice cream and fries I didn't care. Prices aren't bad either. Highly recommended.“

“We always eat here when we are visiting our daughter. I loved the schnitzel, and the authentic German potato salad and sauerkraut. All are made fresh and can be paired with a large selection of beer. The atmosphere is friendly, and we always have our grandchildren with us.“

“My cousin came to visit from Abilene. Enjoyed a day at Kemah Boardwalk and finished the day at the Lake Jackson Texas Roadhouse. We had steaks and beer and we enjoyed watching the staff dancing. A great way to end our day.“
