“We frequent this little cafe at least twice a week. I have never had a bad meal here except for the peach cobbler and the carrot cake however, their down home cooking makes up for that. They have daily specials which is great. They get extremely busy during their dinner rush and there’s usually never more than 2 waitresses who are constantly on the move but we’ve never been inconvenienced by that. The staff that work here are friendly and stay on top of everything.“

“Our volunteers were treated to a perfectly themed lunch generously donated by Wayside Pub in Lake Jackson. They served up delicious shepherd’s pie, and a standout favorite was the Shanghai egg rolls—now available at Wayside! They even dyed the sweet and sour sauce green for a little extra luck. 🍀“

“This place is AMAZING!!! Not only do u get to eat in peace while your children play outdoor games, but the food and drinks are Awesome!!!! FINALLY! “My cousin came to visit from Abilene. Enjoyed a day at Kemah Boardwalk and finished the day at the Lake Jackson Texas Roadhouse. We had steaks and beer and we enjoyed watching the staff dancing. A great way to end our day.“

“Great beer and food selection. Friendly and proactive staff. I had the Jager schnitzel and a side of red cabsge. It was a solid choice. I would have liked a little bit more sauce so next time I'll ask for extra. They do pile on the mushrooms though so huge bonus there. Atmosphere is modern and clean. Be cool if there was a bit more German decor. Overall must visit in town for sure.“
