I was so looking forward to eating here this Saturday along with my 27 other trucker buddies, we literally filled out most of the parking lot and we have a 3hr wait to go drop our loads. But bummer closed Saturday. I'm 7th day Adventist so I understand. But I take off half my Saturday, the rest of Saturday I work.
Friday's fried catfish with beans and hushpuppys; with a salad. I usually get the buttermilk pie. Just doesn't get any better than this; especially way out here at Lake J B Thomas. They have the best steaks in the menu for Friday also; that's some fine eating also.
What a perfect little Pit stop between Snyder and Big Spring for a cold drink, respectful oil field Boys and friendly staff insisting on me taking the case of water from the cooler and not off the floor! Definitely a place to stop just because!
