The people are amazing the refills are endless the food is filling and you get a lot in your portion; one rib order can feed two people and you will be satisfied.Parking: There's never any issues with parking, there's also a car wash next door so it opens up more parking options for family events.Kid-friendliness: Spacious and open so children can roam around with the tables off to the sides for dining.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an easy roll right inside no step up, there's also a table option outside for outdoor dining with the family.
The food was good. I had the chopped beef sandwich and a regular baked potato. It was a little pricey, but then again, anywhere you go is getting pricey!It was good though.

Delicious food. Tried the breaded catfish and it was awesome. Sweet tea was perfect and overall just made us feel welcome. 10/10 do recommend letting the cooks pick your dish for you they absolutely did not lead me astray!

I would usually rate the Hickory Pit a 4.5 however the last couple of times I've bought the Loaded Baked Potatoes instead of Brisket on top I've gotten fat & gristle. Every time we go, its $31... So its not like a cheap lil plate. Over half of my "meat" topping was fat and unedible, it was the same with my husbands but he just threw his out. I hope they will take this and stop doing because I really do love this place.Also I have the pics of the fat and gristle so they can see just how much was on my potato.
Love this place! They are friendly and delicious. If they have corn nuts when you visit, they are a must try! Best pulled pork.

Paid 5.25 for a sausage with a slice of bread and a bottle of water. The slice of bread was bigger than the sausage. If there was ever a time in my life where I felt depressed, it was when that plate was sat down on the table in front of me.
