Atami Steak & Sushi (college station)

Walked up this evening. There was a dead rat in the trash and it stunk so bad we turned around. I’m assuming it came from inside. Nonetheless, management should be intelligent enough to remove and clean it.

First time here. Very long wait for check and food (checks and credit cards [only two of us] ultimately got mixed at table but we didn't want to wait any longer so went with it), food was not very good, and some of it did not even come out in time before we decided things were going way to slowly. Fish was relatively dry. Again, didn't even get to have some of the food given we were waiting too long. I would not recommend this place.

Enjoyed Atami while visiting Bryan for a basketball tournament. The service was wonderful, had a wonderful old fashion and a sake bomb. The food was great, enjoyed Carlos's humor - entertained our crew of 15-17 year old ball players. Thanks for a great evening!

This place is a hidden gem. The food is really great and the price is excellent. We have only ever had fantastic service here. Our server this evening, Chris, was so sweet and super present. He was very attentive and he was at the table the perfect amount - every time we needed him and never when we didn't.

The ambiance is great, the service is wonderful, and the food is really great, especially given the setting and price. The menu has amazing variety and we've never had anything we didn't like here. There's something for everyone.

Went to a hibachi grill with my toddler thinking it would be a fun family dinner experience. The second the chef lit the grill and started clanging utensils, my child immediately folded herself under the table like a tiny bridge troll guarding treasure. She spent half the meal peeking out in fear every time the spatulas hit the grill while I’m over here pretending this is all completely normal parenting behavior.

Meanwhile, the chef was an absolute legend. Incredible food, amazing tricks, perfect timing, and somehow managed to keep cooking flawlessly while a small goblin periodically hissed from beneath the tablecloth. The fried rice was phenomenal, the steak was perfect, and the chef even tried to make my toddler laugh instead of filing a noise complaint against us.

10/10 hibachi experience. Would absolutely return once my child emotionally recovers from the onion volcano.

The wrong food was delivered later than quoted and the owner refused to make it right. Door Dash also refused to credit my account or remake the order. I will never use door dash again or eat at this establishment again. Beware using door dash especially when you have to pay for someone else's food to get delivered. This is exactly why the world has gone mad!

This place has became my favorite place to go to since moving to the area. Staff and service is always at best and friendly. Great place to eat or just wanna sit at the bar and enjoy a drink.

I came in one Friday evening, placed my order to go, spend 90$ the first time an as I was coming in the establishment the employees at the counter weren’t greetable . Staring etc. an I asked if i could place an order of butter to go they looked at each other a were like we can’t do that. An also my steamed rice was missing out of my first order, so I placed an order for the butter on the mobile app 3oz a told them they forgot my rice..I was trying to get like an ounce from the employee before I placed the order. But wasn’t the experience I imagined for the tab I paid. Over 100$

This is by far my favorite place to go. Whether you choose the hibachi without or with the show, it is definitely a great experience. You can bring your family for a show or dine in by yourself. They have a large variety of sushi 🍣. My favorite is the shaggy dog. However the hibachi is also a great option. The fried rice is always flavorful. The waiters are always super nice and are constantly refilling my drinks without me having to ask. There is a nice older lady who constantly comes and around and picks up plates so we never have dishes that just sit there till we leave . The dine in experience is much more chill than the hibachi. The hibachi is definitely worth the show they put on and they make you laugh making it perfect for families.

Very tasty dinner and the service was on point! It would definitely add to the atmosphere before walking through the front door if the center fountain pool was cleaned up and running. Would recommend and return.

Wonderful ambience and delicious food as well as a magnificent show! Did have to correct service on what was ordered multiple times though it was very busy so I do understand the confusions.
