The food is always good but I always order double rice.this two times I’ve asked for double rice I got beans and a salad.i should’ve checked before I left .but other then that the food is good

My favorite casual restaurant in college station. Great food, great and quick service, quiet and comfortable.

I got the pepian de pollo. Traditional Guatemalan dish, and it’s a very good dish. It comes with rice, tortilla and salsa. I recommend anybody that hasn’t tried it, to give it a shot. If you’re open to new dishes then try it, also try the horchata and see for yourself if you think it’s any different from a Mexican horchata.

Be cautious when reviewing your charges. We encountered an issue where the prices of our items were nearly doubled apparently due to “customizations”. They were charging for sides that were listed as included with our plates on the menu. When we questioned this, we were told the policy didn’t apply to what we ordered, despite it being a plate. Unfortunately, this led to a disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this business based on what we encountered.

First time here we had popusas, antojitos, churrasco and bistec en cebolla.
10/10 highly recommend. Food was fresh. The horchata was authentic.

Real authentic Guatemalan food, out of all the guatemalan food places I've eaten BDR has been the only one with fresh garnachas, the churrasco and the pan con pollo were delicious, fresh made tortillas hit the spot, I'll definitely be stopping by everytime I drive through college station, the service was great and the people friendly.

Authentic and delicious. The staff was so kind and welcoming. The food came out quickly and was so good. You’ll to try the empanadas!!

Food was average but very expensive, menu doesn’t have specific prices. You get two free sides with a “plate” but I ordered a dish under where it said that and paid for the sides. (Which was a very small cup of plain white rice and a very small cup of watery beans for $2.50 each) Service was good but refilled my drink without me asking and then charged me for the refill. Atmosphere feels like a fun hole in the wall type place but the menu is priced like a nice sit down restaurant.Agua Fresca was delicious though. Had homemade corn tortillas which were pretty nice. Worker was very nice too.
