I used to work in College Station so I ate lunch here a lot. My favorite dish was the lobster bisque in a bread bowl. I was there this weekend and couldn't wait to have one after many years. It was as scrumptious as I remembered. I also tried one of their famous cookies and it was soft and chewy and delicious. No wonder they have been voted best cookie for so long! The restaurant is also kept clean and the employees are polite and service is quick. I recommend a stop here for lunch anytime.Parking: Plenty of parking to dine in

First time this morning. Had a gift card to use; service was great, food was sub-par and they were out of every single thing my guest tried to order. Obviously they have a purchasing problem to be running out of pastry items on Sunday. They've been in business long enough to know what their overruns should be for a random Sunday when not a single sport is being played.Tried tomato basil soup and it was watery and bland. Exchanged for equally watery and bland potato cheese soup. The namesake Blue Chicken salad sandwich is an embarrassment of quantity portion control. We paid a fair price and got a teeny tiny scoop of chicken that literally left 1 inch margins all around to the edge of bread; on a sandwich that is a huge margin. I didn't bother to go the counter yet again because it was a moot point.

I ordered a bowl of bacon mac and cheese, chips, and a hot chocolate. They served me a little tv dinner of luke warm noodles in a thin cheese sauce, a half empty bag of chips, and a small cup of tepid chocolate water.Am I paying for food anymore or just employee health care and retirement plans? Are everyone’s taste buds dying except for mine? When did going out to eat start feeling like a scam?Anyway, the employees were nice and we didn’t lack for room so I guess that’s something. Never eating there again though.

I had the soup and sandwich combo. Their soups are excellent! I come here when I'm in town. Hot soup for lunch is awesome on a cold day. Their sourdough bread is perfect!
