We had an incredible experience at The Canteen, and a huge part of that was our amazing server, Chloe. We came in as a large group of 25 people celebrating two college graduations, and Chloe handled everything flawlessly from start to finish.\n\nManaging a party our size is no small task, yet she was organized, attentive, patient, and genuinely upbeat the entire time. Orders were accurate, drinks stayed full, and the timing of everything was impressive—no one ever felt forgotten....
I’ve been here several times over the past 4 years since my dad loves this place, but they have consistently taken too long to bring the food out. I’ve waited between 22 to 40 minutes for the first entree to come out, and that’s too long, especially with their uncomfortable, industrial seats. The food is mostly good but overpriced, and I appreciate how they rotate the menu at least once a year.
The atmosphere, build out, and food were excellent. The server, despite telling us she worked there all the time, was slow and forgetful, and things moved a bit slowly. But the restaurant was great and again the food was surprisingly good. Wife had the mahi mahi tacos which were great. Daughter had the grilled chicken sandwich. I had the burger. Son had the chicken sliders which were huge. Nice patio by the pool. Location of restaurant is great, located in a walkable shopping...
