Tried for the first time, when I went in floors were sticky all the way in. It kind of grosses you out before you even eat. The food is like a fast food chinese quality or the same as taco bell. Way too expensive for the price

We did a pick up order. Walked in the restaurant seems very clean ans nice. We ordered General Tao's chicken. Pretty upsetting it tasted more like orange chicken. You have to buy the rice separately it is not included in the meal. Fried rice was more like sticky steamed rice. Not very impressed.

Have been coming here for takeout for a long time! Food is always hot and delicious. I recommend the chicken broccoli lunch special! Love how much they load up your plate and the amount of veggies they give you, too

First of all. I walked in on my lunch break. So my time was limited. The person who took order seems as if she didn’t want to take my order. I wasn’t rude or unpleasant. The food was cold. Not fresh at all. My first time at this location and I won’t come back here ever again. The other location is much better great service in college station. Fresh food. The utensils weren’t clean so I asked for plastic. I won’t be returning to this location again.
Great food!

I'm from Conroe/ Woodlands area where they have great Chinese food.
My favorite dish is cumin beef. So that's what I ordered here. Supposedly its a new dish here and it shows. They offer different levels of spice, and I chose the highest level...and got no heat.
I also ordered a small wonton soup.
Everywhere else, a small meant at least 4-5 wontons. Here its 2. And no chives whatsoever. What wonton soup recipe calls for no chives?? Chives are a staple to that soup!! Clearly the chefs at Chef Cao need to venture out and discover how good Chinese food is prepared.
Tried posting picture of food but it wasn't an option.
If you're in Conroe for Chinese, go to Wasabi Bistro.
And if you work at chef cao , go there and eat there food. And lean from it.
I say this with the best of intentions for you.

We got there early and had no problem getting a table. It filled up quickly. The tea was the only item I'd skip next time. It tasted like plain water, no flavor. The soup was hot and tasted great. The portions were plenty. The dishes, honey chicken, and a spicy chicken dish were hot and fresh.

Mid, General Tso’s chicken was insanely sweet. Peppers were stiff. I’m an eater but didn’t even want to finish my plate by the end of it.

They act like robots. When I come in, there is no greeting, no smiling and when leaving they don't even tell you thank you for coming to their establishment. Made me feel like an outsider.
