Small family chain in BCS: Hometown Chinese in Bryan on Texas Ave at Elm St., south of Villa Maria (next to Carters Burger), chef Cao's on University in College Station, and this location in far south College Station near the H‑E‑B. All are Great food!

Best Chinese food in CSTX. High quality. Reasonable prices. Pleasant wait staff. Clean restaurant.

After trying other Chinese places in town, Chef Cao is definitely the best. Their prices are reasonable and no weird tasting additives. I like their Singapore fried noodles, wide noodles with beef and steamed spicy fish (with hot sauce on the side).

The food's not bad, just not the best as far as my tastebuds go. I wanted egg rolls, got spring rolls. The restaurant is pleasant and clean. The servers were working at a good pace.

So glad we came here! John (our waiter) absolutely went above and beyond in taking care of us. The food was also excellent (try the curry with tofu!). Super friendly place--we will definitely be back!

Never have I ever had this horrible of a meal in my life. I ordered vegetables Lo Mein. I got noodles and snap peas. Never again. Done. Too many other options in town. Don’t waste your time or money!

The food was delicious at the location across fro Costco. It is made fresh and will change veggies if you tell them when you order. I was here from out of town and plan to go again.

Food is really good. One of my favorite is the Peking Duck but the menu offers several options.

We just ordered 2 meals Chef Cao using Flavor for delivery. Both meals had a "fishy" taste. It would seem they are mixing products

Excellent food! It's a pleasure to eat such freshly prepared food. No frozen egg rolls at this place. Worth the trip for just those! I'll remember this place when I'm back in town.

I've only had take out food from Chef Cao's a couple times now. But I felt both times prices were too high for what I got. Food was decent but not bursting with flavor. I've believe I got the orange chicken the first time and mongolian beef the next. The orange chicken just didn't see fresh and the Mongolian beef quality wasn't great. Some gristle and chewy parts. Orange chicken had more breading than chicken it seemed. I still ate them all so it wasn't horrible, just ok. I'll try them again someday but just not yet. I hope they improve!

If you're looking for decent American style Chinese food, this is the place! The service was very quick and attentive. Our food came out pretty soon after we ordered it and was actually hot! Who would have thought that would be a thing you say but it is. We've ordered here a few times and haven't found anything we weren't impressed with.

These mutts still frequent this location as the Lunch Specials are very reasonably priced. It is a hit or miss on the person cooking one mutt's favorite dish Mongolian Beef, but they prepare it lfor this mutt ow fat, and meat well done. It is not too garlicky, and the jalapeños at times are a welcomed spiciness! The other mutt enjoys their Green Curry, Kung Pao, and Mongolian Beef.

Everything here is delicious. The Thai options are phenomenal. Penang and massaman curries are my favorites. The honey walnut chicken or shrimp are treat. This place has always been good, but since the pandemic started, they have become even better. Dine in, take out, or delivered, it's fresh, hot and tasty!
