Chicken Express - Wellborn Rd

Fast food is a tough industry, and the customer experience always comes down to the staff, and their training, supervision and motivation. Chicken Express College Station (Wellborn Road) is terrific. The staff is exemplary and show genuine concern regarding your satisfaction. We eat there about 2/month, and always have a good experience.

Probably the best fried chicken stripe I've ever day. They are huge and juicy and all meat. We love them.

They staff was so attentive and kind. Came to our table to check in and get us refills, cleaned up after tables cleared in a very timely manner. Food came out perfect, fast and definitely hit the spot!

My boyfriend was born and raised in Texas and has been begging me to try Chicken Express for ages. I finally got to try it and I LOVED IT. Definitely the best fried chicken around. We ended up ordering it 2 days in a row. My favorite part was the apple pie. It was SO good. Tasted like actual fresh pie unlike McDonald’s or somewhere like that. 100% recommend. The tea was delicious as well, we ended up buying a gallon the second time we went. We ordered delivery so I haven’t dined in yet, but thats next.

I wish I had tried this place sooner. The spicy chicken strips are so good and always hit the spot! The double sides are a huge plus too honestly way better than Canes and Laynes my opinion!

Went through the drive-thru for lunch today, ordered the 4 piece tenders. I will keep going to the location in Bryan because the Wellborn location gave me baby sized tenders, very disappointed. All locations are not the same.

Yum yum. I love their chicken. It's too bad where I live they have zero. I take an opportunity to pay a visit to Chicken Express when I am traveling. Always great service, fantastic fried chicken and savory white gravy.
