You will wait over an hour for your food and it will not come at the same time. They are a mom and pop shop and expect that when you dine here. I watched them cook, they only cook 1 thing at a time. Parallelism is not being executed.
The food was ok. The short rib portion for $17 was a scam. It was 5 small pieces that were chewy!! They were clearly not marinated for long enough. The mackerel was good. The ox tail soup was mid. Soft tofu soup was fine but not excellent.
I will not come back because I value my time. The food was ok but it wasn’t out of this world. You have better options in college station that will not take over an hour after you order.

I can't recommend enough! I've been coming to Choi's weekly for about 18 months. Typically I order takeout at the end of a long week, but the times I've come in person are just as good (if not better). I highly recommend the bulgogi gimbap and kimchi fried rice. Everything I've tried is outstanding. The quality, taste, and portion sizes are great. The owners and all their staff are the most kind people. It's a great place for a date or dinner with friends.

We've only recently started coming here but it's quickly become one of my absolute favorite places in the B/CS area. Everything is comfort food! My husband's favorite is the Bacon Garlic Fried Rice, and my favorite is the Ttukbaegi Bulgogi. We've also had the Stir Fried Udon with Bulgogi, Jajangmyeon with pork, and Kalguksu with chicken - we've literally never been dissatisfied with anything we've ordered. Staff is so kind and attentive, and the restaurant itself has a simple, hometown vibe.
