I expected the Smokey style but mesquite coal style is growing on me . The meats stay juicer and pepper based Texas style is on the money.
I love the flexibility on the sides from 8oz to 4 oz if you are feeling to try on thier sides.
Pintos beans reminds me when I was a kid eating with mom’s dinner table.
Desserts can’t go wrong with any of them. Matter of preference.
One last thing the staff from start to finish at the college station location were the best. They showed hospitality and mannerism our time as we dined in. Superb job customer service
Went in on Sunday 5:00pm, wasn’t busy, had been there once before but needed a menu before we ordered. There wasn’t one out that I could see wandered over to the bar and eventually found one. 5 staff behind the counter not doing anything, not one offered to help, or ask us if we needed help. I walk up to the counter, guy in a brown shirt says ‘are getting sides’, I said no I hadn’t ordered yet, he points say ‘order there’. The guy preparing the meat was nice enough. The rest of the staff was indifferent except for a pleasant young lady that eventually rang us up. I was just surprised how most of the staff was not attentive, just didn’t seem to care. When done we bussed our table, had to hunt down the trash can. It just wasn’t a great experience, not the end of the world but for $45 for 2 people I would have hoped for more. Coopers is a good brand but indifferent service will damage a brand.
Great food. The beans are amazing!
Best Brisket!!!!
Everything you expect, even better!! Went with a large family group and had several items, all excellent!!
Unless you've dined at this place you really don't know what to do when you walk in because there is no one to greet or instruct you on what to do. I've had way better barbecue for a lot less. We got ribs, chicken, brisket, and sausage and all of it was luke warm and mediocore at best. Sides were not hot food was just not as good as I expected but nice people.
Solid choice here for classic Texas BBQ. The ribs were on point and the ranch mashed taters were excellent. Brisket was good and my wife just raved about the greens. The pork was alright, but not as good as the chicken. Sure did smell good from the red light and it did not disappoint. Lots of Aggie gear in there to check out. We really enjoyed the dinner.
Some of the best Brisket in the world. Definitely best pinto beans and cream corn. Will absolutely be back.
Fantastic BBQ, but quite expensive.

Outstanding brisket. Tasty sides- especially the spicy mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Several very good deserts. Plenty of seating and parking. Very courteous staff. Really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Very nice building. Outdoor area for family to play Cornhole and hangout. Big full stock Bar ...and plenty of good ol BBQ! Big parking lot with room for trailers, RVs or big rigs. Check it out next time you are headed through Aggie country.
Kid-friendliness: Neat hangout area with Cornhole boards for kids to play.

Every meat is fat and overly salty. Spent 60 dollars for two people and half of the meat was fat to be discarded. The rest very salty and crunchy.
