Excellent chicken, burgers, and atmosphere. Parking can be a pain if you go during peak hours, but definitely a College Station institution for a reason.

The Dixie Chicken team was on point last night. The guy at the door was very nice and the bartenders were attentive and fast.

I was just visiting my brother from out of town. We went here before and the food was okay. Today, it was impossible to even eat it. I don't think anyone in our group managed to finish their food. This second visit today was the most disappointing $40 I've ever spent for two meals and no drinks. Two stars because it's a really cool looking place

Delicious. It’s in a great spot (15 minute walk from Kyle Field and barely 3 minutes from the Academic building) and has a great atmosphere. There’s a snake enclosure inside (don’t ask) and a bottle cap alley to the side of the building.

I brought my dog to the A&M vet clinic and thought I'd reminisce from back when I was a college kid. I called to ask if someone could come out since I didn't want to bring my dog inside to let them know I was outside. Courtney was very snippy and said you have to come inside and leave your dog outside. I said ok then can I at least order over the phone and she snapped "you still have to come inside to get your food". I realize walking 50 ft could really put someone out so I responded that's fine, I'm just trying to minimize the amount of time I leave her unattended. Then I decided this wasn't the Aggie hospitality that I remembered and would rather go elsewhere. I had no issues going to get my own food but I don't need to be treated with rudeness before I even set foot in the door. No chicken tenders for Maggie

Local here. This is a dive bar first & a hamburger joint second. Greasy burgers and cheap pitchers of beer. Aggie nostalgia hits me every time I walk through the doors. For non-Aggies, the dive bar branded smell is what you will likely experience. Family friendly during the day. Rowdy and exciting at night. Best place to play 42 on Northgate! If you want the same option but off of Northgate, you should check out their sister restaurant/bar Chicken Oil in Bryan (if it ever reopens). In summary, most Aggies will love/defend this place. For the rest of the world, it's a solid 4 star dive bar.
