Gate 12 Bar & Grill

It was a fun day watching all of the Marine, Navy, and Air Force planes. It was busy including private planes and one Army helicopter. Love to create prentend stores in where they might be going.

We love gate 12 and always recommend it to family and friends when visiting College Station. Sadly this time we were very disappointed. The mimosa was more than 1/2 juice so I returned it and asked for prosecco and a side of juice. Still less than 1/2 the glass came with prosecco and it was rose prosecco. The migas more like breakfast nachos...no tortillas. Also they knew my husband was gluten free snd did not call to let us know he would only have one choice. His choice was an omelet. He could not have the potatoes or the biscuit and they still charged him $24. The chicken was over cooked. We were all very disappointed and it will be a while before we return or recommend Gate 12 to friends and family.

Order was confused in kitchen and one order had to be redone. It came out after everyone else was done with meal. Also beignets were served doughy not done.

I booked this reservation for my son and his prom date. They hooked him up with a runway dining room table which made the occasion extra special. They had a great time and a fabulous dinner. Thank you Gate 12!

Great food and service. Love the atmosphere and decore. We really love that the restaurant provides a unique dining experience!

Rather enjoyable atmosphere. Enjoyed seeing the planes take off, and food was good along with fast service. My group and I were seated immediately upon arrival with a reservation, and were basically in and out within an hour. Overall good experience, and would like to comeback for dinner next time when in town.

This was our first time eating at Gate 12 Bar & Grill. The staff was amazing and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Nice place, food was mostly good. Just some combinations weren’t that good to me. The drinks were pretty weak. I slipped and fell on my way in and the management there were very dismissive and never checked back in with me to see how i was doing which I find to poor business practices. Initially i was in shock and full of adrenaline so i was like im ok but i feel like they still should have checked back in with me! They didn’t ask if i wanted to fill out an incident report or anything. Poor handling in my opinion.

Definitely overpriced and over hyped. Food was mediocre, I had a steak and asparagus. My asparagus were super shriveled up and limp. The drinks were just terrible. How do you mess up something as simple as a margarita?!!! Was 9 of us and the bill was about $500, for that price there’s way better places to go.

We were excited to try Gate 12! However, it was way too overhyped because we were not impressed. All our drinks were made differently each time, the margarita tasted like cucumber, and most of the food was low quality. My side of sweet potato fries tasted like they were frozen, and the Mac n cheese was just pasta in what was like velveeta cheese. The atmosphere was way too loud, and we felt rushed to leave by the waitress. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Went with friends for happy hour and had some of the best drinks in town. The appetizers were great, but the desserts were amazing!

I had the Gate 12 Signature Filet… very good! The corn was a nice surprise, and the steak was a perfect medium rare. My husband’s steak wasn’t done properly, so they brought him a new one. It still wasn’t great, but it was acceptable the second time. He’ll get something else next time.

We were in college station for a cheer competition we decided to try it. Our waiter the host all the people there were very friendly and attentive but the food was subpar. I asked for chicken fried chicken with no gravy got it with gravy. They fired up another and it wad so tough too cut into my asparagus was hard I couldn’t bite into some pieces. The drinks were very good. But what made it more unpleasant was a worker had his family there and the kids were screaming and crying the entire time. They were even throwing things that were hitting guests around them.
