Returning to College Station after many years away, visiting Koppe Bridge offered a great dose of nostalgia. Seeing some of the original tables from the old location out on the covered patio creates an excellent atmosphere, and the staff is wonderful. While the nostalgia factor is high, the comfort food itself felt a bit mediocre compared to my memories—still good, just not over the top. It is a classic local restaurant with great history. I would recommend stopping by for the environment and a casual bite anytime.

I ordered the Koppe Bridge Burger Basket to go. The fries were hard and dry. I think the fries were overcooked and tasted like they are using old oil. The burger was fine, but the patty was overcooked (dry/tough).

The atmosphere was nice. They have a back porch facing greenery. Although, there were some very concerning symbols carved into the tables.

Always great burgers and fries and even onion rings! We called and asked if we could bring the pup since we had an open house and needed to leave home. They said yes even though there are signs outside that only service animals are allowed. Went back in and confirmed again dogs are ok.

After a 6-hour hike in the Rockies, this place honestly felt like a lifesaver.

We walked in about 15 minutes before closing with a group of 7 (including a 7 year old), completely exhausted and starving. They let us know the kitchen was closing, which we understood, so we asked if we could at least place an order to go.

Not only did they say yes, but they were so kind about it. They even offered us drinks while we waited, which meant a lot after such a long, draining day.

We all ordered burgers, and they were absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed. Every single person we interacted with the waitress, bartender, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating despite us coming in so close to closing.

The atmosphere was lively, and even though we were a large group coming in late, they still treated us with patience and kindness.

We’re honestly so grateful. Thank you for taking care of us when we needed it most.

I ordered the shrimp basket and it was the worst shimp ive ever had. I only ate 2 of the 6 of them. They were very hard and dry, probably freezer burned and the breading was way over cooked which made them very hard and crunchy. The hush puppies were ok but still doughy in the middle. I ended up just eating french fries.
The atmosphere was fine, a classic grill, but the food was so bad i cant recommend it to anyone unfortunately.

I visited Koppe Bridge and had the 1/3 lb cheeseburger with fries. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, and the fries were a great side. The beer was cold, which always makes the meal better.

The only downside was that no one mentioned it would’ve been a better deal to order beer by the glass instead of a pitcher during happy hour. A little heads-up would’ve been appreciated.

Overall, a really good experience with great food - I’ll definitely be back.

The grilled chicken sandwich was amazing! I loved that the tator tots were fried crispy. The young lady who took my order was very helpful, it was my first time there and was easy to get along with and had good suggestions.
