I know better then to leave without checking my food first. The chicken and fries were both old and refried before giving them to me. The little bit of fries I did get were saturated in grease. The only thing I could half way eat was the bread. I will pay the higher prices and go to Raising Cains from now on.

Love Laynes we ordered two, five pieces meals. Never had any problems. I don’t mind paying the new prices. But, tonight they literally gave us 8 fries in each box!

Great chicken tenders. Club sandwiches are great. They do have a spicy chicken option as well. More seating area then the original. I love the sauce.

Had not eaten at Layne's in ages. My wife and I were in town visiting family and stopped in here for lunch a few days ago. She had the regular tenders and I had the spicy. Both were excellent: Fresh, hot, tasty. The fries were some of the best we've ever had. Not sure what they do to get that little crisp on the edges, but they were perfect. Oh, and the Texas Toast tasted like real butter was used on it instead of the usual burnt oleo-type flavor from the grill. Bonus! The whole crew working was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and we got our food very quickly. Great job by all. We'll be back a lot sooner next time!

Leaving a bad review not due to the food, food is solid. But due to the employees and service, I specifically go to laynes with the intention of using their rewards feature and building points, but half the time I go and ask them to give me my points they appear to ask and enter my phone number but in reality they rarely actually do and I don't end up with my points, I should have had a free 5 finger meal 3 days ago due to points but the past 3 times I've gone the lady at the window just fakes entering in my number and I don't get a single meal. Genuinely makes me consider just not even going because of how frustrating the experience is.

Pretty chill place for some pretty good chicken! I like the atmosphere of the restaurant, the drawings on the wall date back years and years. You can see that so many people have made good memories and have had some good food here. I like their chicken tenders, nothing too special but it hits the spot! The fries are nice and crispy, and I like the sauce.

After the rebrand/menu change, the prices have been higher but the portion sizes significantly smaller. This is my second time coming ever since the menu change and every time I open the box I am greet with less than a handful of fries that are burnt and smaller chicken fingers. The portion appears to be kids-meal sized if not smaller and way less than what it originally was.

Prices went up and amount of food given went down. I got a whopping total of 15-16 fries with my order. Sold out and ruin the laynes

Do not go to lanes at 10pm on Wellborn Rd. You may get old chicken that has been sitting and dry with maybe 2 fresh ones. Don't get me wrong the fingers in day time be really good and tender fresh, hot, and not salty like what I spent 20 bucks on. Oh yea the Texas toast was soggy with a ton of garlic butter salty. Do better night crew. I love this place ❤️

I’ve been coming here for years. Born and raised they did give me as many fries as they used to and asked for a little more and the manager said “ that’s already an order of fries.” It was by no means an order of fries. Also they don’t give you Cole slaw or potato

Our visit to this location did not meet our expectations of Layne’s quality. The gravy was water, actual white water, and the potato salad tasted like Lysol was one of the primary ingredients, and our toast was not toasty. We have been to Layne’s many times and were sorely disappointed in our meal. We went to bed sad.

The size of the tenders are getting smaller day by day. Hit the drive thru yesterday and the tenders were dry and chewy. I remember back in the days when this used to be as good as Cane's in terms of quality. Now, it's not even a debate.
