I had the all you can eat lunch. Rice was overcooked and felt more like glue than rice. The rolls seemed to have extra rice because I had the all you can eat. The nigiri had thin pieces of fish on a ball of rice probably 5X the size you'd get elsewhere.

We visit this restaurant at least once a week for lunch. The food is excellent! My only complaint would be the service. It’s not bad service, just not the best. The manager is very nice and accommodating. Will continue to visit.

Should’ve checked reviews before I go. The lunch buffet was as bad as you can get for sushi. Raw fish was not fresh at all and rice was not tasted right. Tried 2 different rolls and decided to leave. got diarrhea right after. Not coming back!

I went there this past weekend for their sushi, and it was delicious! The Texan roll was particularly tasty and they have a large variety of roll options. The staff were nice, restaurant felt clean, and nice modern atmosphere.

Tried the AYCE lunch and it was not worth the money. Raw fishes on sushi were not fresh at all, rice was way too sticky and plain. Basically their sushi is missing every element you would expect from a sushi. Plus it is ridiculous the shrimp teriyaki served with only 3 tiny shrimps but a GIANT rice ball - a big bowl size rice ball and the owner expected us to finish the rice! The Japanese wage burger was a joke, it has nothing to do with wagu beef, which is ok but at least put some seasoning to it! Seriously Burger King is better than that. don’t think they will last long if they keep this quality. There are too many way better options available for the same price. We love our waiter but the food quality was a big bummer

Listen to these 1-star reviews!! We just experienced it!! Literally the WORST service I've ever received in my life. We came here for the all you can eat sushi and hated every minute of it. Our server came by 3 times in 2 hours. It took us 15 minutes to get water, then we asked for soy sauce and received only the soy sauce bowls??? The crab rangoons and calamari we received were cold when we got them; I can only assume it was due to her lack of attentiveness. We only got to order twice total -- once for some nigiri and apps and again for a sushi roll (which took an hour to receive). Before we got to order a second time, she came by asking us if we had received our roll. We informed her we have not had the chance to order again at all. I personally witnessed her rolling her eyes after we mentioned this. She then brought us the WRONG sushi roll, blaming it on the chefs (I am 99.9999% sure she put in the wrong roll). Another server checked on us periodically and even told her that we had been waiting on her to order more food, to which she never came by afterwards. She then brought us the bill since it was after 2pm (the all you can eat is served from 11-2pm), without asking us if we were finished. We told her we still wanted to order more food; we were literally hungry at this point since we had only shared our apps from the first order. She said all you can eat is over. We informed her that she had never came to take our orders and were unable to eat the food we planned on ordering, oh and we still did not have our sushi roll. She said she could get us some ice cream. We asked for chocolate, then she came by 3 different times "checking" to see if we ordered vanilla. Wtf? An hour later, we finally got the correct roll, brought by the very kind server who checked on us earlier. Come to find out, our server was actually the OWNER!! I cannot fathom being an owner and providing this type of service. I am so appalled. I will NEVER come here again. If you want sushi and amazing service, go to Oishi Asian Fusion by the HEB on Wellborn/Jones Crossing. We should have just stuck to the best sushi in town there.

I went in to pick a Uber Order on 3/38/2024, the wait was very long so I asked the lady that was at the counter, if I could get a courtesy drink while I wait and she said no, the only thing she could give me is water. So I asked who was the manager and she said she was, and I said I have been waiting for a long time and she said that was my job, i said no not to wait this long and she said the order was big but it really wasn't. I said most restaurants usually offer a fountain drink while waiting, she said I could always cancel the order, so after about 5 more minutes I did. She was really rude, I really think she didn't like people of color because all the times I have ever picked up orders from there, I never see and people of there (black). My review is on the service not the food!

I think the store itself is very cute and the service was good. The food itself was not that yummy. The sushi I had was kind of hard, and the teriyaki chicken didn't taste as like a teriyaki sauce. It was still good enough to eat, but not the best place I've eaten at for asian food.
