Had a simple order of spring rolls. Was told 5 more minutes upon arrival after, already placing the order, just to wait 16 minutes. Only had to wait bc the 2 cashiers standing around did not prep or make my order until I asked multiple times how long it would take.

Today was my second time eating here and I wanted to make sure I left a review this time. Everyone is so sweet especially Ken. I’m vegan and wouldn’t be able to eat the fried rice because it’s cooked with butter but Ken was able to modify it by cooking it without butter. He also offered some information about how to find vegan restaurants via the Happy Cow app. I knew about the app already but it really warmed my heart that he mentioned it. I wish I could give them 10 stars

Food was pretty bag ngl, moldy tasting and fishy even though I didn’t get a fishy dish. Noodles, soda & bao lowkey tasted like bath water. The restaurant also smelt like moldy water. Incredible service however, and very kind staff. Just had to share my experience

I’m not sure where 4.3 stars came from. This place is amazing!! Great authentic flavors. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming here again.
I’m always hungry for spring rolls and this is the closest place to campus I can go to without driving. I really love the spring rolls and they’re really filling. I’ve tried the beef pho and it’s okay for what I can get but definitely not the best. They skimp out on the about $15 pho when it comes to meat. The amount of pieces I get is kind of sad. The service here is not the best, you’d assume young adults would know how you’d like to be treated, but the ones that work here do not it seems. Rarely smiling (which I’ve worked in fast food and understand), and do not seem to really make the experience at Al pleasant. The atmosphere is not great either, dim lighting with really crammed tables. If you’re taking to go it might be fine, but I really do not enjoy dining in here.

I didn’t expect anything special in this college town, but the banh mi sandwich (oddly not shown on posted menu) was just about perfect. Fresh ingredients on a crisply toasted soft roll. The pho was also terrific. I’ve had banh mi in New York, Philly, and DC, and this stands with the best of them. Bonus, amazingly crispy fries.

Wanted to try nam cafe because I always drive right by it and it was so yummy! We got the Pho with beef and I got the vermicelli with chicken. The Pho had a great spice level and flavor to it 10/10! The vermicelli was super light and yummy! I'll definitely be back to try their bao buns tho 😋
