Food was absolutely not worth what I had to pay. It was ridiculously overpriced for food that was way too salty and didn’t have much flavor. Do not recommend the bordurrito with steak, it was gross. Service was super slow.

I would not return to this location. We arrived around 4 pm, and we were the only people in the entire restaurant, but there was a delay seating us. Once seated, the table’s top was loose from the base - completely unstable - and we had difficulty finding someone to request if we could switch it out with another table. Then, we placed orders and my drink order was incorrect, and the margaritas across all of us tasted like “virgin” margaritas. It was as though there wasn’t any alcohol in them whatsoever. After taking our order, the waitress was only available when delivering our food, and yet she applied an 18% tip on all of our checks. This was crazy, as we had 3 adults, 4 kids, and 1 baby (in mother’s arms). She said it was because we were a party of 8. I think she did it because she knew she did such a poor job and likely would not get 18% if she didn’t force the issue.

The final straw of terrible service was when we were given our tickets with a QR code to pay online. The amount we owed online didn’t match the ticket, and when one of us paid online, we were told she owed extra money because their IT department couldn’t figure out why the online payments weren’t charging the full amount. Worst restaurant visit I’ve had in ages. They had no excuse. Even when we left an hour later, there were only two other tables filled in the entire restaurant.

We were the only people in the entire restaurant, yet couldn’t get our order right. The margaritas were awful and the server took advantage of my baby (who didn’t even eat) being there to count us as a group of 8, tacking on 18% gratuity.

We were told to pay online but the totals were different. So they bring you a second check with the difference to also pay.

Generally shitty experience and so not worth it

We went to On The Border on Black Friday after alot of shopping. We were at bit skeptical since the place was not too busy but we are happy we went. My husband had the Birria Tacos and I had the Beef Fajitas. We both were happy with our meals. It was fulfilling but not too much food. His tacos were moist and, thankfully, not overly greasy. I have a high expectation for beef Fajitas since not only are they pricy but I can make them at home. These where definitely worth the price. They came medium rare and were well seasoned. They carried a smoky flavor and were perfect for tacos. I also appreciate there was a decent serving size and most establishments skimp on beef Fajitas. Definitely will be going back.

Oh not to mention the service. Our waiter was kind and attentive. I beleive the manager was present and attentive as well. We took come a Tres Leches cake (I am also particular). It wasnt the best ever, but it was a good tasty reminder of home 😋❤️. It wasnt too sweet either.

The food here was very good, pricing was just right (finally not $$$ for just two people to eat out). The staff was super awesome. Our waiter ( i believe his name was Andrew) went above and beyond. He even got our dog thier own little bowls of water and ice. 10/10

Mid grade, if Taco Bell had homemade tortilla this is what it would be. The queso was good but the pork carnitas were the driest pork I’ve had in my life. The empanadas breading was good but the filling tasted like fast food. I do appreciate how big the tortilla chips were. The rice was crunchy but the food was hot. Service was good, and it was a nice family atmosphere.
