This is a new restaurant that opened recently in Aggieland and sad to see not a lot of customers in here. It did however take too long to get drinks and really long for food. When we got our food the oysters were over cooked and so small you couldn’t get the oyster out the shell and any of the cheese. At $3 - $5 an oyster I was hoping to get at least some of the food off the shell.

We had a party of 7. The food was excellent and we had some of everything. The service was excellent as well. I would highly recommend anyone looking for Cajun food in college station to visit this spot… we will be back!

Local here. First time visit. First off, we had some of the best customer service here that we have ever had in this town. Multiple staff were very accommodating and interactive. If for any other reason, try this place because they will treat you right. I wasn’t sure what to expect before we arrived and I would say this place sits at the intersection of sports bar vibe meets Cajun Gourmet. I’m not sure it works, but I can’t really say it doesn’t work. They have a good variety of dishes and drinks to pick from. Daily specials, like the Turtle soup we had. It was good and a bit chewy, as warned. Would recommend for the experience but not something I would personally order on the regular. We also had the crawfish étouffée and the fried gulf oysters. It was enjoyable but nothing really different from the other offerings in town. Closed out the meal with bread pudding and my wife says it’s a 4 out of 5, would recommend. This place has so many good offerings on their menu that we will for sure be back. I would recommend checking this place out and don’t be afraid to try something different.

If you need a place like home for a delicious meal. Pochè's is your spot. Chef Brian can whip up a meal out of this world. Come in and be transported to New Orleans.
I just had a Monday night football burger with the hand cut fries for five dollars by far the best deal. Soo good.

I really don't know how this place only rates 3.5 stars. Have eaten there twice. Both times the food was great and the service was good also. Split the seafood platter both times and in a time where two burgers cost you over 30 bucks the price was a bargain. As high as everything is their profit margin has to be pretty low. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience tonight at Poche's. Our server Niko was amazing! Nice, thoughtful, attentive and very helpful! So many people checked on us like a restaurant should! They see something, like dirty dishes and just act, doesn't matter whose table it is! There's a fun raffle, game going on right now so if you've wanted to try them, please do! My husband and I recommend it!

Our first time there and won't be our last. The hush puppies are the best I have ever had and the key lime coconut cream pie - to die for. Also, the Poche's Margarita was fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful anniversary experience. Tracy Stasny
This was our second visit, The first visit was during crawfish season and was an awful experience. Order was wrong service was slow and food was cold. One of the guests with us ordered a pasta dish with chicken and it came it one tiny piece of chicken. Manager offered to bring a new plate and he did but it took 45 min! Management was so nice and we could tell it was just a busy bad day for them. We tried again last night party of 6. Waitress was awesome. Very slow though as she was making drinks and wanting tables. The oysters were awesome. The rest of the food was not great. My friend and I ordered pasta that was truly awful tasted bitter like Worcester sauce was poured over it. Manager offered to send something else. It was basically the same bitter sauce with sausage in it. He was very nice and did comp the two pasta dishes. We all wanted desert initially but the service was so slow we were ready to go and never tried desert. Staff is so nice. Service is slow. Food average at best and some dishes are just awful . We really want to like this place and support local but it just has not been good. We may go again and just AJ e drinks and oysters when we have plenty of time because service is so slow.

We had the chance this evening to visit this establishment! We truly enjoyed the bar area. We order the bayou platter and an additional side of Seafood gumbo. Kallie (SP) from Lake Charles was the bar tender. Our food, service and evening was wonderful! 5/5. Recommended for food, service and atmosphere thank you

This place is outstanding.
We had the charbroiled oysters which were SO good.
The hot boiled shrimp were 10/10. They were great in size, flavor and easy to peel. Adding melted butter was even better.
Our waitress was amazing and we absolutely will be back!
We got takeout for the half priced poboys. I am glad we did. Definitely not a $15 sandwich. It was plenty of food for the price, hence the 3 stars. But that was not roast beef on my poboy. The guys got shrimp poboys and you could smell them across the building. Not a good indicator of fresh seafood. Taste was sub par, fries were meh. Most of mine went in the trash. Probably won’t return. Subway has better quality if that tells you anything.
