My friend invited me and hyped them up and she was so right! This place is really good. Worth trying out!

This is my first visit and I am so glad that I discovered this delightful coffee shop. I'm a bit of a challenge as a customer because I need accommodation for a wheel chair and the use of my walker. But much to my delight, the staff was wonderful to me. I want to extend my sincerest appreciation to Lily who was gracious and helpful to make my stay very pleasant. Lily genuinely made me feel very welcomed and provided me excellent service. The iced coffee and the cinnamon roll were excellent. The ambiance of the coffee shop was both welcoming and warm. I'd absolutely recommend this coffee shop.

really sad to be leaving this review, i used to love gogh gogh as it is close to my house but the quality and consistency of the drinks has gone way down. i always get the same thing and it has become an issue where the drink tastes different every time. also, the steamed milk in the lattes the past few times have been very poorly made. hopefully this gets fixed! i miss the old gogh gogh

Made an account just to make this review, I've been coming here for a while now and it's always been a great atmosphere! Not as unique as somewhere like sweet Eugene's but more homey for sure, which is why I like it so much. Most of the time I'm helped by a guy which is fine and all but the other day I was helped by lily, and I got to say! It's super cool to see some representation, and she was super knowledgeable about the questions I was asking. I think it's definitely cool to see people being treated like people again!

Great atmosphere to study at. Plenty of seating and no loud music to distract you. Coffee is good but inconsistent between baristas. Food is fantastic and i love the bacon egg and cheese croissant. Ive never had the cinnamon rolls, but ive smelt them as they were baking in the back and i bet they taste even better. 4/5 only due to inconsistency with drinks depending on who is workingo

I have been going to the Highway 6 location nearly everyday for four months as I work to finish my degree. I have never had a bad experience but only been blessed by the staff and the atmosphere. They always have a smile for me, know what I want to order and are just genuinely positive. The coffee is great too.

Unlike anything I've ever seen before. Its a printer but really it is so much more. I can't give you ALL the details you'll have to go experience this thing for yourself.

I just stopped here this morning with my daughter after rave reviews however was completely appalled by the woman, Sonya (sorry if misspelled), behind the counter. She was being very rude to the staff, belittling them in front of my daughter and I the entire time we stood there looking at the art for sale. When I told the lady how disgusting her behavior was she let me know they were her children and to have a nice day. Coffee was mediocre, hot chocolate was okay. However the brownies and lemon bars were delicious!

My journey to finding the best cafe in Bryan/College Station continues! Readers, bear in mind that I don't look for quality coffee as I have an extremely low caffeine tolerance and thus do not drink one. Rather, I judge a cafe by how many vegan options they carry and how "workable/studyable" the atmosphere is. That being said: 1. Availability of vegan options: unfortunately, they didn't have anything vegan in their bakery section. However, their frappes can be made vegan with alternative milk and with no whipped cream. I ordered the oreo frappe with almond milk, and despite the strong flavor of espresso (which was completely on me to not exclude, even after hearing from the barista on what goes inside), I liked how flavorful and smooth the drink was. 2. Workable/studyable?: certainly! WiFi is free and fast, which I couldn't ask for more. There are lots of tables by outlets for you to charge your electronic devices, and the tables are clean and spacious. The background music played at the establishment is also quiet enough for you to get your work/study mode on, or not be disturbed by when you have your earbuds on. Overall, I see myself coming back again. Brownie points for the barista for her wonderful service and generous help in navigating vegan options!

Had an hour before I needed to be home, so I stopped by Gogh Gogh and spent the time reading. I’ve never been inside before, and they have these super comfortable chairs that I totally took advantage of. Decided to order a Blossom (one of their signature drinks) containing white mocha and lavender. I was afraid it might have too much of a chocalaty flavor, bc I don’t like too much chocolate in my coffee, but it was perfect. Loved it!

Once upon a time College Station had a number of decent coffee places. Then they deteriorated or went away. That violated about thirty eight different laws of nature. College towns HAVE to have a whole mess of really cool coffee houses. A college town without cool coffee houses Is like a college town with no place to drink beer Or a college town with no place to get foul drinks that come in forty eight fruity flavors. College Station was running on a bunch of Starbucks and one coffee house in a Christian church for a long long time. * * * The dry spell is OVER! Several seemingly excellent coffee places have come to College Station. I have yet to review all of them. Anti-pandemic measures are not always consistent with spending long times sitting in rooms with non-mask-wearers. But I have had a chance to do Gogh Gogh on Texas Ave. (There is another Gogh Gogh farther south as well as a number of competing new places). Gogh Gogh on Texas Avenue gets a big thumbs up. * * * The best way to review Gogh Gogh is ironically to review the cruddy place that was previously in the same location before Gogh Gogh took over. The previous coffee shop a) Had terrible coffee b) Had unspeakably awful baked goods. c) Had an outer working area with great big huge plate glass windows that let in huge amounts of light and looked out on an ugly parking lot. You could escape from the parking lot view by hiding in a room in the interior. The ugly parking lot was just ugly. The bright windows were good if you were David Lynch. David Lynch makes no secret of his preference for working in huge amounts of light when he writes his otherwise dark scripts. For everyone else, the glare makes it hard to see your computer screen. The light is pleasant but is not super duper for productivity. (If you are just there to talk to your friend or read a book, the light is actually quite pleasant.) ****** Bring in a new establishment and a new management team and the worst problems are solved. The coffee is great. I gave them the test I give a coffee house when I am being nasty. I ordered the straight up espresso. Starbucks will flunk that exam every time. Gogh Gogh's espresso was a nice mix of floral and bitter that was entirely pleasant. I was a happy camper. I did not sample the baked goods. (Had to go to a heavy lunch forty minutes later.) The bright room is still the bright room ... but there is plenty of room in the dark room and the dark room has lots of sockets. So I could get done everything that needs to be done. Better yet from a pandemic standpoint. There was nobody there. (Everyone was in the front with the light and the parking lot.) In this plague era, I truly value solitude in any coffee house or bar in which I plan to spend a lot of time. Overall, a fine place. I still have a future date with the baked goods to see what I think. But overall, this seems to be a fine place to settle down and really get productive. What else are coffee houses for?
