Razzoo's Cajun Cafe

Visited the restaurant on Sunday, Oct 27. I had Jambalaya Pasta and my wife had Cajun 2-Ways. Both meals were very tasty.

Wanted to try some cajun food in the cstat area, this definitely does not disappoint. The combo skillet has plenty put into it and will fill you up, also has a decent amount of kick to it. Service was very responsive, I'd probably come back again.

Such wonderful, attentive, and friendly service. We are always seated in a timely manner. The restaurant has been clean each visit. The food is good but can sometimes be a hit or miss on being great

The food isn't bad. Unfortunately, the Venn overlap of actual Cajun food and what gets served in such establishments is always going to be a bit narrow. I got a half dozen oysters and the catfish with hush puppies. It's always good to find a restaurant that will serve you a platter of freshly shucked oysters. Also, the hush puppies were good.

Some of my food was cold and the manger greeted talked to certain people .

Had a great first experience at this location. Service was prompt, atmosphere was great and food was delicious. Had the stuffed shrimp plate. Portion was very generous, definitely can feed 2 people. Look out for Rusty the raccoon. He’s hanging out somewhere in there ?

Absolutely worst service I have ever had. The place was empty, and it took over 20 minutes for our waitress to even acknowledge we were there and she was standing right across from us. We had to ask the manager if we could get a waitress, and she acted as we were putting her out. Once we did get our waitress, she had no acknowledgment of what was on the menu. Food was way over spiced and over cooked. When came time for the check, my husband had to call the waitress over. No refilling of drinks, no asking if we needed anything till it was time to leave . Will not go back.

We walked into the restaurant and the host greeted us. Everything was fine. They seated us. There was a group of us about 17 or 18 when we all got there then they tried to add chairs which was too crowded the waitress seem like she really didn’t wanna add an extra table. I said make it happen I suggested it please do so. Everything was fine. They took our drink order and some of the ones that ordered beer and drinks took them a while for them to get their beer. Ready to order just yet after a little bit, the waitress came back and we were ready to order order the food. Everything was OK or food came out. Everything was OK we ate. Our food was good. After we got done eating, someone wanted to order dessert, but I’ll waitress was nowhere to be found. We waited and waited, and a waitress were nowhere to be found. She was taking care of another party larger than ours. Then after a while, she finally decides to show up. The waitress apologized and said that she had forgotten about us. By the time she got back, we were just ready to leave. She checked those out with card payments and kind of forgot about those that were paying cash and she apologized again. The food was good. The restaurant was good. It was just our waitress. How can you forget your party??? And make us wait so long!!!

This restaurant made my NOLA travel a bit bad since Cajun dishes in this restaurant were better than that in NOLA.

I use to love this place. I always order the boudin balls, today when I did so they are literally the size of quarters for 20 bucks! I will attach a picture with a common dip container to show size reference.

This was the first time I ate here and I ordered a Mahi plate, can't remember the name but the Mahi seemed to be cooked too long. We ordered their sampler appetizer and loved it! The hostess and server were great and knowledgeable with the menu. Overall it was a great experience and would come back.

went in, greeter didn’t say much..,asked if I should sit anywhere and she said yes or the bar… went to sit at a table in bar area… nobody came yo even give a menu. bartender didn’t ask anything… so I left after a few minutes. a shame really, I love cajun food.
