Roni's Mac Bar - College Station

Me and my friend went in close to closing time. We have never been, but highly recommend! Super nice girl that was so kind and patient with us, even though it was late.

We saw Roni’s on Tik Tok so we drove from 2 hours away to come try it. We came during winter break so the store was dead, however the staff was nice but ordering is done in a touch pad.

Food was great. Decently recommend doing the double cheese as I did and it was a great texture vs my BF did the regular and if was light after all the toppings.

Price: For the both of us with added topping and two fountain drinks was about 37$. Portions were average. I’m a light eater and felt full. My bf said he could eat two. 😂

We came to Roni's just because of what we saw on Instagram!! It soooo didn't disappoint!!!! We were most impressed with the size of our meal, but the F Me Up bowl was out of this world GOOD!!!

I came here after seeing all the reviews and unfortunately was a bit disappointed. I do think maybe I should have done more research through more reviews or something before going here, but I am writing this so that people can know what to expect that they might not think of originally.

I will say that this was my first time here, and that it is a decent place for lunch or something quick but for pricing or personal preferences it might be better to choose another option for dinner. The price adds up quickly, my order went from $8 something on the kiosk to $19 and something. ($17 + tax.) I did add on two toppings that required me to pay more which I expected and was completed fine with- the problem I had was with the garlic bread and juice. I just didn’t expect those to be so small. The juice turned out to be an 8 ounce bottle, which for reference is smaller than an iPhone 12 and you can get a pack of 6 for $4.42 while the one drink costed over $2. And the garlic bread was even smaller than that. There wasn’t anything showing the sizes of either, so I recommend just skipping both options.

As for the macaroni bowl itself, it was the only food I had to eat and I ate it for dinner, so I was pretty excited and it tasted decent but before I was even halfway done my food ended up cooled, and ended up tasting more bland. I do live close to this location, and I started eating it as soon as I got back.

Overall, maybe this just wasn’t meant for me, and after seeing reviews and the social media I went in with more expectations than I should have. Price wise I don’t think it’s that worth it, unless you only get the bowl.

However, the people working was nice and not only was contact limited but the food came out pretty quick. So it is probably a better experience if you stay and eat there.

I recommend going at least once to see if it’s for you, as someone who doesn’t have the option to constantly cook for themselves it is nice to have more options around. P.s. I threw up a bit after eating it. So it did make me feel a bit sick after.

I thought my mac dish was silly good, and the employee named Sam was polite, friendly, & professional. I would be glad to eat here any time. I wasn't sure about the parking. Found a free 2-hour spot about a block away.

For a franchise that appropriates a dish that was originated by black folks, the basic Mac and cheese here is pretty basic and bland for the price point the cost/benefit ratio is skewed. Better off buying a box M&C off the shelf and doctoring it up for a fraction of the cost.

First time here and I will DEFINITELY be back. Great portion size, high quality products and a more than reasonable price. Extremely clean facilities as well! The literal only thing I can think of to make it an even better experience, was if they added shrimp/fish as a protein.

I have lived here for two weeks and have already been here 4 or 5 times! The food is amazing! The portions are large enough that I always have a decent amount of leftovers. At my most recent visit, I met Taylor who provided great service! 10/10 would recommend and you can find me here at least once a week! 👍

Only went there becuz they were convenient & close!! I should have gone next door to Taco Bell!! They are waaay over priced!! U barely pay the expensive bill and when U get the food it is small portions & ok taste! I now know WHY the place was half empty!! Ya think this placed wud be priced, catered to poor college kids, but no!! Te quiero Taco Bell!!

This place is great! I wanted a quick meal that was fast and this fit the picture perfectly! I went for the first time, and was not sure what to expect. So I customized my own Mac and cheese and it was so good! Highly recommend! 😁

Came here off a friend's recommendation from the Houston area and the place had some good quality macaroni and cheese. Lots of options which perhaps was my downfall (too many things). I'd come back but keep it simpler

I love Mac and cheese, this place is great. I love that I can put all my favorite toppings on my Mac and cheese all through the convenience of a digital ordering system. The portion of Mac and cheese is large and the container it comes in is very convenient for take out, typically my food is still warm after my walk to the bus and ride home to my apartment. 5/5 🎉🎉✅🔥
