I can’t tell you how many people have gotten food poisoning here, but last night my roommate got food poisoning from their chicken which is notoriously ALWAYS undercooked, and that was my last straw.
The years I lived on campus and ate there I tried really hard to eat the chicken they served because I needed the protein, but it was always pink or red on the inside. If you can’t properly cook something like meat that can be FULL of harmful bacteria, you shouldn’t serve it.
I’m not blaming all of the staff, they work hard. I’m just ticked off that Texas A&M consistently after YEARS of complaints serves their students things that make them so sick. :(

For 13$, this is a pretty damn good price for a buffet. But yea considering students, this might still slightly higher priced. Idk. There's pizza, pasta, make your own rice bowls, subs, fries, chicken tenders, mushroom/beef stroganoff, cereals, bread, and soft drinks, some desert cakes. A lot of students do dine here so you might not get a seat always. I quite liked the food taste, but it isn't anything great either, hence I have heard folks say they didn't like it as much. But this is a student cafeteria, so I think they've done a great job.

Food was decent. Good variety. Enjoyed the healthier selection along with some of the best cookies I have had. Fun environment with lots of different types of seating. Good space without having everyone crammed together bumping into you. Good location. Excellent, friendly staff.

Vegetarian options: More than I expected

Dietary restrictions: More than I expected for high protein low carb diet

Kid-friendliness: Families welcomed and great variety of seating for all. Kiddos will love returning the dishes when done.

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible to all

Gig ‘Em!!Came here on a college visit with my son. I graduated from A&M in ‘96, and spent some time in Schumacher Hall. Sbisa has had quite the upgrade since then!Lots of options depending on how you feel for the day. Plenty of seating area. All of the food we sampled was good, although the portions they provided were fairly small. It is all you can eat however, so you can certainly go back and get what you need.

Everyday at Sbsa dining hall, or as my friends and I call it affectionately, "the beezer" is a new day, new food, new opportunities (to eat), and new memories. To us the beezer is more than just a simple dining hall, it's a place that offers a much needed oasis away from the shackles of class work or a lonely dorm. I know someday I will tell these memories to my children when they attend Texas A&M, until that day I look forward to continuing to produce such memories at my home away from home.❤️
