Shogun Japanese Grill & Sushi bar

Ordered food online and website stated my food was ready. I get to the restaurant to be told my food was still being worked on. The whole time my food was sitting on the table nearby and no one handed me my food. The person I spoke to was no where to be found. 2 other people were behind us waiting to be seen. This transpired over 10 minutes. It took 10 minutes for us to find our food sitting on a random table after being told that the food wasn’t done. And still no one was checking the front for other customers that came in.

Surprisingly nice place. Both food and service were quite decent. The kids really liked the show and we enjoyed the food. Also didn't seem to be too crowded around 6 pm

I got to watch the entertaining cooking from the cook on our opposite table. He interracted with his dining party and it looked like they all enjoyed the show. Our cook didn't do anything. That was disappointing but at least the food was great.

We came to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary & Joel was an amazing server! He made an amazing old fashioned! this was our 1st time not sitting at hibachi and the food still tasted good! go check it out

I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box for lunch. I loved the soup! The chicken was a little dry, and the fried veggies were a little greasy, but the California rolls were nice and fresh.

Went on a Sunday afternoon empty no one there food is not good at all very salty and flavorless after eating here I can definitely say Atami is 1000 times better will definitely not going back

The server was so nice- actually got the wrong roll and he immediately took it back and got us the correct one quickly. The “Mon roll” was my favorite of the rolls we got, but they were all fresh and very good!

I recently revisited Shogun College Station for lunch and was delighted by their exceptional sushi. The L1 sushi combo was a standout, featuring fresh, flavorful fish that exceeded my expectations. Kella, our friendly and attentive server, provided excellent service, and Carlos's sushi-making skills were top-notch. If you're seeking delicious sushi in the B/CS area, Shogun is a must-try.

Took my kiddo here for her first experience with hibachi. She loved it. The food preparation was great and the food was tasty. The chef was nice and chatty.

I wish I could rate the food higher as the service was very good and the place was nice. The salad was swimming in dressing which we did not care for and the onion soup was a bland broth. We ordered the chicken teppanyaki, Bonzai plate (chicken, shrimp, beef teppanyaki) and chicken yakisoba. The teppanyaki was pretty flavorless, the yakisoba was the best item we ordered but it was a bit salty. We took most of it home where we will improve the flavors. Also we all found bits of each ones order on each others plate which I imagine could be dangerous for people with allergies.

Wow. Sashimi. Sushi. Hibachi. All absolutely phenomenal fresh. FRESH. I’m a sushi/sashimi guy. I make it my mission to try and try and try a place and get bad funky fish.
Not once with them. Fantastic place. Massive sushi bar. Plenty of seating. No complaints
