Waitress Tessa served us. Tessa served us with professional service making sure we were treated well. Observed other tables she was serving was admirable as she was busy making everyone satisfied. Place was needing a bit of cleaning floors and restrooms. Seems cleaning crew was needed. Second time there. Enjoyed the food.

Hella gumbo, catfish, ettofee, just everything. Always wonderful wait staff. The daily specials can't be beat.

Came for the crawfish, but the sign said it was out of season. I ordered shrimp, but when I took a bite, it was spoiled—awful strong smell. My hands smelled that way for hours after I left.

I had the Cajun tacos with sweet potato fries. They were delicious. I was forewarned that the food is too salty so I ordered accordingly because I don't like salty food. It's a nice roomy place with tables large enough to hold everything and you don't have to bump elbows. 9 of 10 would go again.

Rather expensive. Three adults nearly $100 for Sunday lunch. Too much.

Our waitress seemed annoyed by us . We had to walk to bar to get our own drink since it
was sitting there for a bit . It wasnt busy either we were there at 9p.m. and they close at 10p.m and there were about 4 other people in there besides us. We asked for lemon for our meal and our waitress said their lemon cutter was already in the dishwasher and she said sorry and walked away so we walked to bar and asked for limes and the female bartender was super sweet and more attentive than our waitress . Our waitress never came to refill our drinks either or to check on us . Not sure if she was having a bad night. We eat there because they have good food but have never had an experience like that . We spent $260 on food and service was bad . I still left a tip because thats me . Sharing my experience with honesty.

I recently came and had Cameron as my server. She was amazing, super attentive and had great food recommendations. I am definitely coming back and hope to get her as my server again. Truly made my day!

I recently visited Tad's Cajun Cooking and wanted to recognize Cameron for doing an outstanding job. Even though they appeared to be short-staffed and didn't have enough waitresses on hand, Cameron handled everything professionally, efficiently, and with a great attitude.
She stayed attentive, kept up with a busy dining room, and made sure our experience never suffered despite the workload. It's not easy to provide excellent service when you're covering multiple responsibilities, but Cameron made it look effortless.
Great food, great service, and a team member who truly goes above and beyond. Cameron is a huge asset to Tad's Cajun Cooking, and I look forward to coming back.

Great local spot! Casual dining with great service. We were visiting from out of town and our waitress Cameron had great recommendations and was really polite and attentive without being over baring. We will be going back the next time we visit College Station.

I've been coming here for about a year now and it's a great atmosphere and experience each and every time. I would definitely say, a great part of that is due to Elisa. I have seen the place go from good to great since she's been around. Elisa makes the guest and employees comfortable which in turn gives me a good time and able to speak with and laugh with the guest while sitting at the bar or outside whichever it may be that day. I've had the pleasure of having Elisa as a server, bartender, and being there while she manages. She EXCELS at each and every one. Thank you Elisa for making the place even better with great vibes all around and thank you Tads for having me! Highly recommend 5 stars all around!
