This was a great place to get chicken. Unfortunately it is now closed.

My wife has certain food allergies that can be avoided simply by asking what ingredients are in certain sauces. This location did not know what they had in their sauce. We simply said give us the tacos with no sauce. The cashier ring is up and I verified the coldslaw was okay and we sat down. When our food came they brought a completely wrong item for my wife. I went to talk to the manager JT and express my frustration that it is an even what we ordered. The cashier had apparently made a mistake and he said he would get the tacos out right away. After we were pretty much done eating the taco showed up and they had the sauce on them. At that point we simply said it's too late. We're done. We can't eat the tacos because of the sauce. Although JT said he would give us a refund it wasn't enough to make up for the lack of service and the errors in our meal. Maybe it was just a bad day but I will not be going back here

Went for the first time tonight for a birthday celebration. Chase and all the staff were super friendly, great advice on food selections, and kept everything clean.
I haven’t eaten Mac and cheese in a long while, but the Sleazy Chicken was fantastic! Definitely stop by! Well worth it!

Fresh. Hot. Grilled chicken and fries. All freshly made. Have different heat levels as well. Very nice

The chicken tenders are well-cooked on the outside; however, they could benefit from a slightly longer cooking time to ensure the inside is fully cooked. The fries are delicious, but slightly too salty. My friend didn't find them as enjoyable due to the saltiness.

The food was fresh and The Boujee Margarita (the Shack Swirl topped with Chambord) was strong and tasty! Everyone working there is super friendly and polite. We will definitely be back.

This place has really good hot chicken. I opted for the salad as the side and it was fantastic.

It’s like a combination of my two fav fast foods. The sandwich tastes like Urban Bird sandwich and the Kale Salad is almost as good as Chick-fil-A’s. They both taste so good. The bread of the sandwich is so spongy and buttery. The seasoning of that salad is spot-on. I think it’s got some mint in it which provides some kick and makes the whole thing interesting and refreshing. But both are slightly too salty for me. I’ll still give it a 8.8/10. It’s in the top 10 on my US restaurant list for now.

Really good! In fact, it’s a contender for my favorite fried chicken in town. The only undecided winner so far is Mess Waffles. The Cookshack has a different vibe and feels more like a lunch or dinner spot, while Mess is the perfect breakfast place.

Alright, who am I reviewing again? Right. The Cookshack has some great options, and my wife and I went for the Chicken & Waffles. I chose the hottest seasoning they had—pretty sure it was ghost pepper—and yeah, it was spicy but didn’t make me miserable. There was a lot of food, and it definitely filled us up. My wife got mac n cheese with hers and really enjoyed every bite.

The cashier was nice and attentive. The atmosphere is great for a lunch or dinner date. Plus, they have large booths, which we really appreciate.
