No pics! Too good to stop. All was good! From our drinks, to the service, we had the steak tartare 10 out of a 10, lobster bisque. We got one and split it and it was plenty for both of us 10 out of a 10, my husband got the salad. He said it was good. I was too full , and then we split the rib dinner and it was a 10 out of a 10. If you would like an upscale restaurant with not all the crowd, it is a must.

Absolute perfection. Food was amazing. The chicken fried filet has the most amazing "crust" I've ever tasted! Service was outstanding. *Not the best place for kids (No kids menu).

I love coming here. I usually get the short ribs every time I dine here. This time I decided on a filet mignon. It was delicious! I loved the choice of handmade sauces as well. My partner got the short ribs this time. The recipe is different and I liked them better the old way so I am glad I did not order them this time. The French toast dessert also changed. It was better with the apples. Still a great place to eat!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary and we do not have a single complaint. The food was out of this world and our server, Johnathan, was amazing. The owner even came by and check on us to make sure we were enjoying our time. Loved it!

I have eaten here every time I'm in College Station for quite a few years. The food had always been good but we were there last night and the steak isn't the same. They used to serve 44 Farms beef and it was much more tender.

The Republic had been around for years. Our go to place for special occasions. From their tender juicy steaks to their premier drinks (if you're a bourbon drinker, try the Smoking Jacket) you won't be disappointed. The service is what you'd expect from such a venue as this, is impeccable! Old school, warm finishes make you feel pampered and cosy. Date night essential!

We celebrated my wife' birthday on Saturday night. Lauren was our server. We had excellent service and food. She was extremely knowledgeable about the food and drinks. She offered multiple off menu options as well. I ordered the Chef's cut based on her recommendations. It was awesome. Everyone needs to eat here at least once. It's worth the price.

 we had a wonderful dinner. Tyrone was our server. He was the perfect level of attentive without being intrusive. We enjoyed mash madness as well as our steak and oysters. The Republic is always a wonderful evening

Over all we had a good time, the food was great as always, as was the service. However my girlfriend, who can’t eat pork due to an allergy, ordered a side dish and was told it would be prepared without bacon. It was brought to the table and looked good, but after eating a bit, my girlfriend looked at me told me she had just eaten a piece of bacon. I looked through the potatoes in the dish and found lots of pieces of bacon at the bottom. The dish not only had bacon in it, but had been prepared with the bacon, contaminating the entire dish. Fortunately she only had a minor reaction, but it could have been much worse. For the amount we spent on the meal, I feel we shouldn't have to worry about whether our food was safely prepared.

We had an awful experience here. This restaurant would not accommodate to the basic needs of our party and we were greeted by our waiter who immediately complained about the chair my brother chose to sit in as he was “too big” to be sitting in that location. The waiter had a negative attitude towards our party the whole time, and it ruined the ambiance of the restaurant. The food was fair, but definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend this place, and my family and I will definitely not be back.
