Very enjoyable evening, with a fantastic waiter and even better food. The oysters and heirloom tomato salad were the perfect start to the evening. We split the fillet that was the special and it was cooked to perfection. The sauce was fantastic. Ended the evening with Apple French toast and it was delicious.

We had a nice quiet booth, lovely dinner with my wife. Our gin martinis were superb, nice and strong, went well with our raw and chargrilled oysters. Service was fantastic, non intrusive yet very attentive. This was our third visit to The Republic, and we will return very soon. ?

You can not go wrong with The Republic! The atmosphere, experience and service is fantastic! The stuffed mushrooms were outstanding, Tomato Bisqe delicious, and the chicken fried filet was out of this world! It was out Anniversary and we were treated like royalty. Our server Fabian is the absolute best, we ask for him every time!

From when we first discovered The Republic Steakhouse in 2008 when our son was in school at A&M, we have gone every year when we visit College Station. The food, the drinks, the staff, ambience is always awesome! Wade, the owner, is such a great guy, and always finds time to take a few minutes to chat with us. Hard sometimes to get a reservation, so make sure you plan ahead and make reservations especially on home game weekends in the fall.
We always have a great dining experience at The Republic. We were celebrating our 45th wedding Anniversary last night. It was another great experience. Jordan was our server and she did a fantastic job. All of the other employees did a great job. Our drinks from the bar were wonderful. The food was delicious. Continues to be one of our favorite places.

We have wanted to dine here ever since my daughter moved to A&M. Finally it worked out and it was outstanding! It ranks up there with the best of the best in fine dining establishments. The food and service were excellent. Will definitely be returning to dine here when we can make a football game!
The service was amazing. Recommendations for good & wine was great. Taste & temperature of our steak and sides were perfect. Dessert was amazing. The only disappointment was paying $72 for a bottle of wine we can buy at Total Wine for literally $19.99. I get you're paying for the experience, service & ambiance but that seemed a little excessive. Overall still a 5 star experience for us. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic experience. Our server Maddie was super knowledgeable and helpful. The Caesar salad was incredible, as well as the brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. The one thing I would say is spend the extra $6 for the ribeye instead of the NY strip. It is much more tender.

In terms of constructive criticism, we found the music playing on the restaurant's sound system to be a bit loud and not particularly soothing. Of course, that's a matter of taste. It is our sense The Republic serves the best steaks in the Brazos Valley. We will certainly return.
Lovely and memorable birthday celebration! Ishmael was attentive and amazing descriptions of the varied entrees. Truly a spectacular culinary experience. We all loved our entrees and the Marie Antoinette torte was amazing. Thank you for making it so pretty and special for my daughter's birthday.
