Stopped by for dessert on a Thursday evening. There was one other table there waiting. No music, very quiet. We ordered through a kiosk as no one was up front. One of the workers came out to grab something, but didnt even turn to greet us, despite us smiling and waving. Made us feel like we were intruding. Yet their mission states that they strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered our strawberry crepe slice and oreo pancakes to-go. When the server brought them to our table, she didn't say a word. Not even a smile or a thank you. The crepe cake was bland, there's whipped cream in every layer and that's about it. The drizzle they put on top got extremely hard, so it was impossible to eat. I won't order that again. The oreo pancakes were delicious, but not what we thought. They're basically a folded and filled crepe. I think it'll be a while before I come back here.

I thought I would try this place and ordered a "bubble waffle with vanilla icecream and strawberries" which was way over priced. They gave my order to the people that had ordered before me so I asked for a refund. Today I see that charge cleared and no refund. You disrespected my patronage to your shop and wasted my time. Since you pretended to refund you are thieves in my eyes and I would never trust anyone like you to handle food that I'm going to eat. I'm not spending any more valuable time dealing with this as you are obviously a shady establishment and people should know.

A very nice place to sit back, relax, and drink tea. They have hot teas, beautifully served in a glass teapot. Their snacks are also delicious. 10/10, would recommend.

If you're looking for an alternative to ice cream, this is the place. Usually I'm not a fan of Asian inspired desserts, but this has changed my mind. The layers of the mango crepe cake are almost like a custard. Very fresh and light. I would have loved more fresh mango and the mango sauce on top, but still delightful. We also tried the strawberry pancake and one of their bubble waffles. All very good and you leave with your sweet tooth satisfied but without it feeling heavy. The inside is very zen with nice lighting and wicker chairs that make it cozy to sit and enjoy one of their hot teas or plentiful selections of desserts.

We visited Thousand Layers last week on a weekday afternoon. When we went in, there were no other customers there. No music playing, and the two employees who were in were sitting quietly. We weren't greeted, and with how quiet it was it felt like we were kind of intruding on something? We ordered via the self-serve kiosk (it asked us to tip before we were even served, which I really dislike) and had a slice of strawberry crepe cake and chocolate crepe cake, and two flavored lemonades. With tip it came out to over $30. The cakes were served very cold, and the employee again said nothing to us when they brought them out. The food was okay - a little bland, and for the price I would've liked something a bit fresher. I regret not trying the bubble waffle because I think it would have been made fresh. The service was good and prompt, but it's very offputting to not be spoken to? It was a very awkward experience. Also, oddly enough, the seating inside looks like plastic woven patio benches with a few pillows tossed on it - not super uncomfortable but definitely not somewhere comfy to sit for any longer than about 20 minutes. I had high hopes for this place but I don't think I'll be going back.

THE CUTEST LITTLE STORE, it's kinda in a hidden area but it's a very aesthetic store. The lady was very kind and obviously a hard worker. The cake WAS TO DIE FOR. I will be coming again!

This place is a little gem! This type of cake is something I’ve never had before, but it’s so creamy and delicious! It’s nice to have a unique cake store in town :)

I love this place so much. It has amazing tea and desserts. It is usually super quiet in here so it is a perfect place to quietly hanging with someone in a more intimate setting.

Not great. Cake was dry. Coffee was luke-warm. Server could care less. Not what I expected. Definitely will not be back.

Thousand layers is an interesting place to get dessert! The atmosphere is a great, it’s a nice little place. However, the desserts were mediocre. One neat concept is for the lemonade you do get a nice reusable cup. It’s a neat concept overall but I’m not sure how long it will last with the quality of dessert.
