My mother got me out of the house on a rainy day and swore I would like the new What's the Buzz Specialty Coffee and Bakery. I remember 12 years ago sampling coffee from What's the Buzz at various places including farmer's markets and other coffee shops. It's awesome that they're now a fully established facility. Shoutout to Alex who took care of us from the moment we arrived! She was energetic for a 2 o'clock slump and had wonderful recommendations. I ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso to mirror something I love at Starbucks and it was delicious. My mother loved her dirty chai latte. The sandwiches reminded me of Norma's Shoppe in Ridgewood, NY. The star of the show was the choco-flan, something I don't think I will ever see again. There are only about 4 seating arrangements so this wouldn't be a great place to study but I do recommend it for its drive thru. Go see Alex! I will be back when I'm here in town.

The coffee here is truly gonna leave you feeling BUZZED. I swear it’s the strongest in town. However, the main location is definitely an order and leave or get your coffee and work kind of vibes. Very limited food options and it’s usually pretty quiet!

Needed to kill a little time between appointments and no longer supporting Starbucks and other national chains. The Mrs found What the Buzz on Google Maps, so we have it a try.My oat milk latte was decent and service was good. Would absolutely return and try other offerings.Their bakery and sandwich offerings looked pretty good too.

?I LOVE the Tiramisu which I am told is made by Maria's sister with rich espresso, lovely creamy, moist, melt in your mouth lady fingers, dusted with cocoa, and topped with chocolate shavings❣️I will come again ?Parking: The College Station location next to Copy Corner has multiple parking spots in a large front lot.Kid-friendliness: Extremely Friendly Wait Staff named Viviann and her Manager Maria on Texas Avenue in College Station were seen interacting with children, students, and seniors. I personally felt right at home, and believe I have a new coffee shop to enjoy my favorite desserts and coffees in a eco-friendly environment filled with planter dividers between the tables.

Some of the best coffee in the area. We buy the beans to make coffee at home and grab espresso drinks here and there when we need a pick me up while we're out and about. Product quality is top notch. Sometimes the service could be better though - there have been times in the past when they've been short staffed and things have taken a long time.

What a great coffee spot! The staff was very helpful and friendly, perfect for the Aggie spirit!I loved that they had a flight option, especially because I am so indecisive when it comes to ordering coffee. My husband ordered the Thunderstruck, a specialty drink of theirs, and it was definitely our favorite!I can definitely see this being the perfect study space. It has large work tables and plenty of outlets to keep your devices charged.I also appreciate the art available for purchase. This will definitely be a regular stop of mine when I am in town. I highly recommend!

Was super excited to try this place after driving past it a lot. The atmosphere is dope and the staff were great, but the coffee was terrible. Ordered a drip with a splash of cream, the coffee was lukewarm and tasted like water with half and half. Disappointed because the place looks like it had a great cup of coffee!

This place is amazing! We ordered the “coffee flight” and went to cloud 9 immediately! Came back 2 days later and ordered another. 5 stars for sure. Best coffee!

Really nice espresso coffee that is served with a friendly smile & service! Loved the ambience inside the store as well. You can smell the freshly ground coffee beans as soon as you enter the store.

I got a single origin pour over for $5 and it wasn’t exactly what I expected. I let the barista know and he kindly gave me a cup of drip on the house. I will give it another try for sure when I’m in town again! Thanks for the great service.

What's the Buzz in College Station. My ideal coffee cashier and barista is a tall bearded man in a flannel who hates me because I dared to order coffee and pull him away from his bean roaster. However, What's the Buzz coffee has opened my eyes to a new kind of barista to look out for. Moms. Who I assumed to be the owner of What's the Buzz is your perfect Dolly Parton southern mom. She talked hard core coffee jargon with me about her new Papua New Guinea beans, and as I left she said "have a safe trip honey"Now, recently the "in" coffee's you'll see are single origin Ethiopians, that are light, bright, and sour. These are some of my favorites, and taste as if a man puts his head right by your ear and begins to scream. What I also tend to like are the classic Italian espressos which are perfectly crafted to feel like boxing match where you get punched in the face and then kissed on the forehead. Papua New Guinea is a nice variation from the ever popular South American beans and current trends. It is a light body with a robust and full flavor of just coffee. It tastes like a hard days work building a house, or a deeply impactful philosophical debate. Simple, strong, and good. It is almost comparable to the Columbian geishia, but that might be going a big too far.I typically despise studying in coffee shops. They are often too cold temperature wise, with uncomfortable chairs, and not enough power outlets. Not to even mention that when you look up from your screen your options are to stare at concrete floor or white brick walls. However this place's theme is "eco-industrial" which has the look of washed out derelict, but overgrown with plants. They also have FREE REFILLS, what? free refills are you kidding me. Free refills of single origin stuff are you for real????? I'm going to die of a heart attack here.Mom/10, good place.

The menu has some interesting items here, cardamom latte is one of those! This is my favorite item here. The quality of coffee is better than many of the coffee places in the area. The service is not consistent. Every time I ordered latte it came in different temperature. The design of the shop is really beautiful.
