Came by the other day to get my birthday pie. Ordered a regular size chocolate cream pie, paid while the attendant asked the lady in the back I'd they had any more. She said no but they could throw one together really quick. I said no, that I would just change to a banana cream pie. We got home and took the pie out a couple hours later, I noticed that the pie filling was pulling away from the pie crust and that the filling had a hardened like film on the top, you can see the color difference between the top layer and the rest of the filling, the top layer was rubbery...we went to cut it and the pie stuck to the knife like crazy. We ended up needing to rinse the knife off completely between slices. The filling had completely separated from the crust and was just clearly old. We ended up throwing our pie away. I'm pretty bummed since this was for my birthday. I've bought the 4 pack of mini pies here before and they've always been delicious. I hope they get this corrected sooner rather than later, but for the price I will try some more shops around before returning.The customer service was good, the reduced stars was because they sold me something that they didn't have in-stock.The ambience is adorable and well decorated for a pie shop.

This company makes decent pies however they're also very trashy and cheap. It is my birthday and I received an email stating "I have a free pie on us for your birthday!" The caveat? You have to buy a pie first! Cheap n trashy.

One thing I appreciate about Texas are the wonderful shops dedicated to pies. There is a definite fine focus on pie making in this state, and it is a lot of fun checking out the local pie shops. Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop was one of those tasty pie places that I tried while visiting Texas. The store itself is cute and inviting, and the service is very friendly. I wanted to try several different pies, but decided on their Southern Custard aka buttermilk pie. It was so good, and one of the better buttermilk pies that I have tried. It was flavorful and the custard consistency was on point. The crust was quite perfect, and I am rather particular with crust on anything. The buttery crust was seamless when eaten along with the custard, it was a great pie! I also liked the fact that you could order individual 4-inch pies, which is the perfect size when you just want a little pie. So definitely, Buttermilk Sky Pie is on my return list when I visit the area again, there are a lot of other pies to try!

Oh my gosh these pies are truly so good! Wonderful experience. The key lime pie is delicious. Not super tangy or tart. The white cream on top is so light and airy, lightly sweetened. Just really good. The pecan pie is delicious as well! Not overly sweet. Everything was really delicious! Much smaller pies than I expected but still overall a good experience.

Great service and it served its purpose. If you don't like sweet pies (borderline too sweet) you won't like these. The apple was a good balance. The pecan and chocolate chip was extremely sweet.

My husband and daughters each got a pie today and they were in love! They tried the key lime, coconut cream, and chocolate cream pie! I tried a bite of the key lime and it was so delicious! We will definitely be back!

Owner refused to exchange a pie that tasted terrible. $30 in the trash. With margins like that, take the pie back, keep the customer happy. Owner did offer two small pies

Picked up two pies the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Had easily placed and paid for my order online a few days prior. Pickup was quick, they had pies wall-to-wall. Everyone loved the Pumpkin and Apple pie. Pumpkin pie did say it’s only available 10/16-12/31

Ordered online and figured I'd run up to get my pies before a business meeting that I had. I totally missed the "ready time" notification I received. long story short, I got there 2 hours before I was supposed to and Sheila immediately took the time to put my pies together and quickly had me on my way so I didn't miss my meeting!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PIE EVER!!!! I ordered 5 mini pies( coconut cream, apple, I-40, pumpkin, and key lime) for thanksgiving. They were literally the best pies I had in my life!! I loved the pumpkin and apple. My husband and my brother loved the I-40 and coconut cream. Everything was perfect and I cannot wait to go back to order the bigger sizes!!
