On a whim, we decided to stop on our way back to the Austin area from Abilene, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. We all indulged in a tasting flight, followed by a pour and a beautifully arranged charcuterie board. The atmosphere was effortlessly relaxing, and every sip of wine was superb. A perfect little detour that felt like a hidden gem.
Absolutely love this place. Beautiful historic building and gorgeous grounds. Some of my favorite memories have been made sitting outside drinking wine with friends here or sitting in the cozy inside on a cold day. They let us bring our little dog and always remember us. Lots of really good wines and selections. They taught me about wine and all the different kinds. Just an all around great place. Don’t miss it!
Great experience & environment! Amanda was helpful and knowledgeable!
We were sent here by a coworker and we had an amazing time! Amanda was super sweet and took great care of us.
Good wine, nice tasting room, great people.
The absolute best Winery! The atmosphere is very relaxing and the wine is superb. Everyone at Brennan’s is so friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re coming through Comanche, TX….it’s a must stop!
Quite possibly the best Texas wine we’ve had. Our favorites were the Viognier, Super Nero, and the Winemaker’s Choice. But, we didn’t have a bad wine there. The Petite Syrah and the Buffalo Roam were also very good. Amanda, the tasting room server, was also super friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. We bought a few bottles, will likely join the wine club, and will definitely stop here again next time we are driving through Comanche.
Nice place and beautiful. Lade is friendly, and I tried to taste some. They are good... she was able to write a note. Because I am draft
Beautiful vineyard to enjoy great tasting wine.
Beautiful inside and out to truly enjoy their wines. I bought the 2022 Viognier, white. Worth the trip to Comanche.

Favorite stop along HWY 16 headed to the hill country.Beautiful, historic building, wonderful wines!
Amazing small town vineyard, staff was very knowledgable with their wines. The Pet Nat was amazing, first time trying that style of wine, very flavorful. They serve charcuterie boards made with local cheese and meats to snack on.
Very very very friendly people, but the location doesn’t fit tractor trailer 53”
Super nice people and great wine!
Such a nice place to visit! The location is super convenient. The grounds are very well kept and comfortable. We visited the Tasting room/Gift shop where we had a tasting which was awesome! The Assistant winemaker was very helpful, knowledgeable and service was awesome! All the wines we tasted were great! The Winery room is super cool where you can view the different processes of wine making. I recommend stopping by!
