“Great little place while passing through Comanche! Service was great, food was good! The pizza was cheesy and the hamburger meat on it tasted great.(Dough made fresh Daily) The Fries were crispy and we chose to season with a spicy seasoning which was really good! Burgers were nicely done one with a fresh jalapeño bun and the other with an onion bun! If you're looking for a nice lunch and a little bang for your buck this is the place!”

“Usually the church rush is the worst time to try a new place bc they're swamped with the most obnoxious and rude demographic, but today was the exception! Everyone had it on lock and everything was great. Especially the treatment of my 13 MO baby by staff, I know that can be a nightmare for customer service and food service workers but I do clean up after us and our waitress today just about reprimanded me for cleaning up the baby's mess, insisted she'd get it. Truly an incredible little place in a beautiful spot out by proctor lake”

“My mother, daughter and I were passing through on our way to Fredricksburg yesterday for a Mothers Day trip and had a hard time finding somewhere to eat. Now we realize that it was a God thing. After googling and calling to see if they were open, we headed over. They met us at the table with a cup of beans right off the bat - which was great because by that time we were starving! We are huge buiscut and gravy girls so that is what we all got and they did not disappoint. I also had a side serving of their cranberry and stuffing with some lemon pie to go. Not only were we unanimous in CP being the best restaurant food we have had in a while, but the women there made you feel like family. This will now be our go to when out this way.”

“Would I return? YesTraveling thru, I needed a meal for the evening, and of the limited restaurants that showed up in my search results, most were Mexican; and I didn't want Mexican - that can be had in nearly any township. I opted for this little place on the square's peripheral. The building is an old 1890s ish structure, and the interior is from yesteryear, also....kinda neat! Very unassuming, though.I was promptly greeted and served! ??I ordered the Pasta Carbonara; it was nice and very sizeable portion! This restaurant does NOT ACCEPT CARDS "cash" only or maybe check.”

All You Can Eat Catfish Dinner

“I have mixed feelings about giving this review. A back country, all you can eat catfish, chicken strips, steak fingers, salad, friends and hush puppies along with a handful of there items you can order from their menu. One business out in the middle of the country. We went at night, so I'm not exactly how it looked from the outside. Wasn't obvious which door to enter, but we made it into the building. Got in and notice how short the ceiling was. I'm about 6'5" and I had to duck. There is a slope to the ceiling, so as you shift, you can get to a ceiling that is tall enough to not duck.Went to pay for the all you can eat and handed hery card, to which she said cash only. Wasn't certain if ai had cash but she immediately reached for a card with their address and said we could just mail payment to them. I've never heard of that. Wow. I did have cash enough. Now to the food. The catfish was pretty tasty. I'd give it about an 7+ out of 10. I'm huge on fish, so it was pretty good. Flavored right, kind of smallish pieces, but over all did the job.The chicken tenders were breaded right and we're tender. I am confident to give them a solid 8+.Steak fingers. I missed them on my first pass and almost missed them on my second pass. They weren't really warm and seemed as if they may have sat there for a bit. I can't in good conscience rate them. I had three bites... And set them to the side. I would like to have them fresh out of the cooker next time.Seasoned fries were very good. I got some just as they came out. I'd give them a 9. The hush puppies, maybe a 5-6. They didn't have any type of vibrant taste and they may have been there for a while also.Wife had the self-served salad. Was a simple, what looked like iceberg lettuce, with tomato wedges, white onion, shredded cheddar, and ranch. She enjoyed it and remarked that it was all fresh and the ranch was good. A few more components like maybe egg or croutons, maybe a cucumber could have brought it up to a 9 to 9+. But it gets an 8+ for being as fresh as it was.Coleslaw was very simple, but fresh. Not the KFC style that many are used to, but you could taste all the flavors and I liked it. 8 for that. The cocktail sauce was really good as was the tartar. 8+ for the tarter, 9 for the cocktail.Plastic plate, plastic utensils for the all you can eat. Overall we enjoyed our meal. Atmosphere was just basic, but the food did us well. I read that they had a ribeye. Said they had a real knife for that. May have to try that next time. We will return. Good value for the money. It was $20 per.”
