“Stopped in at Granny Clark’s while passing through town, and wow - what an absolute gem! Their dinner buffet is everything you want in good country cooking and then some. The chicken fried steak was so tender you could cut it with a fork, and the medium-rare steak was cooked perfectly. The mushrooms were awesome, the rolls were downright to die for, and the mac n’ cheese was fantastic - creamy, cheesy, and exactly what comfort food should be. I didn’t even have room for the salad bar or dessert, but honestly, I didn’t want to miss out on a single bite of the main course. If you’re anywhere near Dublin, TX, do yourself a favor and stop at Granny Clark’s. You’ll leave full and happy.”

“Great food great service! We went to red barrel first and after 10 mins of not getting waited on we left & decided to try backwoods. I tried it years ago after woodies closed and wasn’t impressed by the yuppie menu. I think it is different owners now the food was excellent. Recommend! We will be back”

Not sure why but someone took over our order toward the end. Hope it wasn't because they thought we would get upset about repeating till it was right!! “This is our local old Dairy Queen and I love this place. They do a happy hour between the hours of 3 and 5 PM Monday through Friday and it’s my favorite place to stop and get a tea. Ice cream is delicious. Food is good, but I love how much this Dairy Queen gives back to our community.”

“Me and my husband ate there this evening and the hibachi cook was amazing and the food was really good, I know the waitstaff earns their money through their tips, we tipped the cook and the waiter separately. The tip wasn’t a lot because it’s between paydays. I was lectured by the waiter that he has to tip out the cook 7 o/o at the end of the night, even though we tipped the cook and the waiter separately. I didn’t appreciate the lecture and should have asked for the insignificant tip back if he wasn’t happy with it”

This was my second time using the app and I had earned a free item through the rewards program. Although the app wouldn’t allow us to add the item to our order, the Chili’s staff went above and beyond and kindly brought it out to us with a smile. The order was quick, affordable, the service was pleasant, and the food was absolutely delicious. When I enjoy a meal this much, I’ll gladly return time and time again.”
