Its nice place but you need to put a sign on your door CASH ONLY. some are visitor that hear about the place and dont know about it. We was one of them. Also could print out a menu so while you waiting in line you can know alittle more what to expect. Put more info on your site about cash only, what is buffet, what you pay more if you want it like desserts, what price is steaks, ect. Other then that enjoy it .

Best place in the whole world between Brown County, Comanche County and Eastland County Texas to go and get catfish, fries, hush puppies, and chicken tenders All you can eat, they have other things too, but the all you can eat catfish has gone up to $19.82 a plate but very well worth it

Have heard about this place since childhood and my curiosity has been answered. It was ok. Mainly a buffet was featured. There was fried catfish, chicken strips, beef tenders, French fries, cole slaw and a salad bar. The chicken strips were the best option only there was no gravy. We paid for the one trip buffet and two drinks. Was a little over $23 for 2 adults. You can order from the menu options.

Sign on door says 10pm and online says 930 but 845 they were closed ...and we drove a hr one way to eat there ,other than that love the food and pissed I didn't get to eat lol ....so 1 might need to call ahead and make sure they will be open

I've eaten here many times in the past and it has always been great but I went about 2 weeks ago on Saturday got in the door about 8:30 and was informed the grill was already closed so we could only do all you can eat catfish no big deal, but the catfish, chicken, hush puppies and the fries had all been under the lamps for a good while barely warm and dried out and none was put out fresh while we where there our drinks where 100% flat and when we went to get ice cream as we left they had already emptied the machines while we where eating so it was not available either. Have always loved cooks but was not happy with my last visit don't have a sign out that says open till 10 and then charge full price for cold fish with no intentions of making us any fresh I would have been happier if they just said sorry we are closing down early we don't have anything fresh to serve you.
We came over 30 minutes to eat here so a turn away would have sucked but better than $50 to eat cold dry catfish. I'll be back but I'll call ahead next time to make sure they won't be closing early for sure!!
