We stopped in at the recommendation of Chris at Newsom Vineyards just around the corner and he was definitely right. Stephen is super frendly and knowledgeable and there are some definite gems in their portfolio. The Viongier is especially delicious, perfect for the 104° Texas afternoon we visited on. This is one of my favorite spots to go to in Comfort! This is one of two locations for Bending Branch Winery and the staff is great! Always welcoming and extends the best customer service. I joined the wine club a few weeks ago and one of the staff members who helped get me signed up wrote us a hand-written note welcoming us to the club! We're Gold Rush members of the Ursa wine club. The tasting room is in a historic building in Comfort. An afternoon tasting is a great Sunday afternoon excursion. Ursa has so many fun events. Next Sunday, we're attending a wine tasting of their new releases. The tasting room is small, quiet, and very personable. The staff are available and very knowledgeable. It's fun being part of this wine community.
