I drive all around Texas because my job, been in Greenville, Rosenberg, Midland Odessa all around San Antonio and always stop on a Chicken Express, but the one in Comfort, Tx. 42 US HWY 87 is the best, a lady called Paula is here and great service.

Passing through Comfort Texas on our way back to Albuquerque New Mexico, we stopped at this chicken express. It was so delicious and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. The gizzards, gravy, and rolls are must!!

First, the service was great -- very nice people. I order 3 pieces of fish fillets to go. The fillets were rolled in corn meal and fried just right. Six hush puppies came with the order. The fish fillets were great. The hush puppies were fair. They were a little too sweet for my taste. Still, I got my money's worth. I'll definitely go back the next time I am in Comfort.

This may very well be the worst restaurant in all of Fred. Poor service, filthy tables at 4:45pm and the food was cold & limp and tasted like it was leftover from lunch. (Tenders & Fries) Powerade tasted like soap. Avoid this dump.

Worker up front was the sweetest lady ever, could see them cooking fresh, went through all my questions about the meals to find the perfect choice, and food came out quick and hot, and the food was delicious, would be a shame to give anything lower than a 5 for my visit today

First time trying chicken express and I was l wonderful ? mash potatoes with gravy were really good for fast food. Chicken was fresh! But the corn on the Cobb was too soft. But still was really good eating!
