Fantastic pizza, very cool establishment in a very cool town. Comfort deserves more visitors, and love, its a unique, cool little place, easily walkable. Pizza place: Great food, sit outside in the shade. Couldn't be better
Comfort Pizza is hands down one of the best spots in town. The wood-fired pizzas are incredible—crispy, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients that really shine. The setting is just as memorable, with its funky, retro vibe and outdoor seating that makes every visit feel like a little adventure.
What I love most is how much character this place has—it’s not just about great pizza (though it is some of the best you’ll ever have), it’s about the experience of slowing down, enjoying the atmosphere, and sharing good food with friends. Comfort wouldn’t be the same without it.

we love what y'all are doing at comfort pizza! we get so excited when we allow ourselves to order your pizzas. if we didn't have a bit of control, we'd be ordering like all the time. yesterday we placed our order but have to drive down from alamo springs ranch. evidently I was not fast enough so Ty decided he'd call me so I'd get my pizza fresh and hot. imagine that kind of customer service. dude, you made our day! thanks for what you do so well! We ate here and it was not busy in the sense of busy.* I guess they did have some dough reservations that were stocked piled they were trying to get through which delayed our pizza by an hour and 45 minutes. LOL. The business is poorly run because of this and probably upset a lot of people in the meantime. It needs better triaging for sure!
Anywho, we ordered, left and came back at our allotted time, let them know we were here and still received lukewarm pizza- not hot like right out of their wood-fired oven. It sat and waited to be boxed. We ate it because we waited SO LONG and didn't want to keep waiting since their dough is the coveted style dough LOL.
The pizza is good but CALL IN AND ORDER AHEAD OF TIME and it is PRICEY. Also, if you make an unfavorable and true review be prepared to be chastised by the owner who apparently gets butt hurt by them. The public deserves to know exactly how it is run here. Enjoy!

Great pizza and service. Nice outdoor eating area that gets hot in the summer, but they do have fans outside. They also have great gelato!
This pizza is very good. Worth the experience for sure. We live in Shertz and drove out here just for the pizza, it did not disappoint.

This is got to be one of the worst run businesses on the planet. You basically have to reserve your pizza. Drive 30 minutes to have a pizza, get there with 5 people at the place and they refuse to make you a pizza. The basically tell you to get in line, which for us was two hours later. You should learn to prioritize the customers at your establishment.
Update: It's a stupid way to run a business. You're leaving money on the table and pissing off potential customers. There was another group of 6 that you turned away while I was there.

We were vacationing in the area and pizza sounded good. We just stopped in and had a great pizza. This is now 1 of our 2 favorite pizzas. The 2 styles are different, but equally as good. Apparently, we got lucky and they had some left as we didn't make a reservation (didn't know we should have at the time). Highly recommend. We will definitely be back if in the area again.
It is outdoor seating. Very unique and interesting building in the downtown area with many well kept historic buildings.

Call ahead to eat here i guess. Apparently you cant just show up and eat like a normal place. Drove 45 minutes to be told the place was rented out and we couldn't order. what happened to being open, I order the food and you, sellers of the food, make it, and let me eat it. There wasn't a soul sitting outside the restaurant so we thought we came at a good time. What a wierd business model. Dont expect to just pull up to the restaurant and be served food, you must adhere to their strange practices
