I haven't had gumbo in a while and saw it on the menu. It was great and had a good amout of heat to it as well. We also had the cheeseburger, which was a good straight-forward burger with crispy regular cut fries. And great friendly customer service from the moment we walked in the door! Benjamin, sorry we gave you a fright when you opened the door.

Good articles by the restroom if history buff.Season yourself so diabetic to blood pressure friendly meals. Reminds me of the cooking at Hill top Kerrville nursing home. Lots of older clients easy to hear without hearing aids or with they spoke loudly for us which was so nice. Clean bathrooms to great staff who refill to get what you need. Easy to eat y chew .Desserts are magnificent! Chocolate cake had hint of walnuts y coconut in the icing. Was delicious. Older lady near me had the rum pudding raved about it. 5 star desserts !Ate on the way home from church.Dietary restrictions: No salt or pepper on food you season yourself so good for those with high blood pressure to diabetes. Had sugar y sweetnlow for teas.Parking: TonsKid-friendliness: Has a kids menu $5-$5.50 drinks sold separately.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly tables to bathroom place if made for older seniors so has all you’ll need.
I loved my lunch the other day. I had the chicken fried steak. It was so good. My husband had the pork chop plate. He really liked it. I will be going back soon and I highly recommend Cypress Creek Inn. Thank you Ben! See you soon.
Fabulous chef salad. Had the bread pudding. No raisins in the pudding are why I didn't give 5 stars. Will return for more tasty food.?

WoW! was this a great place for a casual Thursday night dinner!! I LOVE chicken fried steak and this IS the best I have ever had!! Great food, great guy (Benjamin) who helped us and can't wait to go back and try the burger, which looked GREAT, as well. Easy going place with wonderful food, I could tell there were a lot of "regulars" coming back for wonderful/easy meals. A comfy place in precious Comfort. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

We arrived 15 minutes before closing, yet we were greeted warmly. We asked if we were too late to order, we were told no and invited to sit down. The food was good and they didn't push us out the door even when the other two families left. The staff was very funny and kind. Would love to visit again.

Went here for lunch today and it was a delightful experience. Nothing pretentious. But excellent home cooking & comfort food. It was served piping hot, nicely flavored & the service was friendly. This is the place where it seems everyone knows everyone else. And before we left we'd made some new friends too. Highly recommend chicken fried chicken, with mashed potatoes & cream gravy and green beans. I'm so glad we didn't eat lunch anywhere else. Pure down home comfort food at its finest!
