Enjoyed lunch at the new (to us) location - The Meyer Hotel. The Husband had what he declared the best Reuben of his life and I had the best pulled pork of my life (and we’ve had many, many such sandwiches). Friendly service, clean place with great views.

We took a trip to Comfort after hearing amazing reviews of Food for the Soul. The owners and staff are extremely friendly, provide incredible service and delicious food and atmosphere. We ate there multiple times during our stay. The Friday steak night dinner was incredible as well as the breakfast. The view of the creek is a beautiful backdrop as well. We look forward to returning as soon as possible.Kid-friendliness: The staff was extremely kind to the kids in the restaurant as well as adults. We didn’t take kids this time but know they’d be accommodated and happy here, too.

So good! Great wine and warm atmosphere vibes with friendly folks. I felt like I was walking into a country small town version of the show "Cheers". Homemade bread pudding hit the spot paired with some very tasty cab wines . This is where you want to be on a Friday night. The steak suppers smelled amazing ... coming back next time for dinner!Kid-friendliness: It felt like home. Great place to bring your kiddos while mom and dad eat. Pet friendly. Service was great. Food delicious. We ate outside. We enjoyed the most amazing view. After our delicious meal we enjoyed a stroll in the restaurants back yard. We swung on the wooden bench swing. It was a very pleasant experience.

Food for the Soul moved to 845 High St. in the Meyer Inn. Best little secret in Comfort. Ordered Philly steak sandwich, Zuppa toscana, made with cauliflower instead of potato. My son got the Niki. Small menu due to moving to smaller place. Food and service were excellent. Go talk to Kathy, the owner, she will take of you. 5 star for us.

Their chicken Cesar is maybe the best I've ever had and I'm not exaggerating. Fresh chicken, fresh lettuce, awesome dressing, and crispy bacon. And it's huge! My only critique is they don't have an ice machine and I had to scoop my own ice, I think that's unsanitary.

The Alamo Area Corvette Club cruised up to Food For The Soul Bistro after an event, and we had a great time!! Great food, good atmosphere, and friendly staff. Definitely a 10/10. I am definitely looking forward to going back sometime in the near future.

A wonderful place to eat. I have had many different food items, and it is always delicious. They also make their chips from scratch. They are so addicting. On Wednesday, they have an Asian dish special. It always hits the spot when I am craving Asian food. They have daily different soups. Try them out, you will love it.
