First time coming here. The place is big with spaces to eat inside and outside. The menu consists of sandwiches, soups, and salads. The portions are big for the price which is nice. My only complaint is that the food took way too long to be ready. It wasn’t busy at all so I’m not too sure why. It took around 25min to get a simple sandwich out. Other than this complaint, it was an overall good experience.

Just fantastic. The ladies working the counter we absolute dolls and the food is fantastic. The food is so fantastic that my wife and I ate there 2 days in a row. Like I said, everything was great but the mufaletta sandwich was my favorite. My wife skipped around on the menu but everything she had was great. From the Arti Havarti sandwich to the soups you won't be disappointed. I am so mad at myself for not getting the peoples names but they were all great. The older gentleman was really nice. I assume he was the owner but whoever he was he and they made it an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. If you're ever in Comfort Texas you should check out High's Cafe. They won't disappoint and you will fall in love with them like we did.

A very quaint place! The food is delicious! Fresh ingredients in our lunch plates. We had the salmon sandwich and the caprese salad. The place has sitting indoors and outdoors. Since we had our dogs, we sat outdoors! To our surprise they have fresh water for dogs outside! Too kind! We will definitely return!

Loved this place. The hot dog and homemade potato salad was delicious! Even though it was a warm day the outside seating was shaded and provided fans. Self service with plenty of condiments and clean utensils. Relaxing atmosphere and wonderful place to catch up with friends.

Amy and I make it a point to stop by High’s Café & Store every time we’re in Comfort—and if it’s a Saturday, you can bet you’ll find me here with a High Dawg in hand! The all-beef hot dogs with coarse mustard and chow chow on a toasted bun, plus a side of potato salad, are a weekend tradition we look forward to.
The food is always fresh, the daily specials are creative and delicious, and the staff keeps the place clean and welcoming. Whether it’s a sandwich, salad, or a weekend treat, everything at High’s is made with care.
