I love this restaurant. I've been a few times, I'm from out of town so I only get the chance when I'm here visiting my dad. But we always make it a point to stop in. Great food with friendly/quick service. Everything I've tried has had great flavor and tastes fresh. Can't wait to see the new patio area completed. Hopefully the next time I visit it will be up and running!

The fajitas have no seasoning. They don't put cheese in quesadillas. Beans are out of a can. Salsa tastes like nothing, would say it's out of a jar but never had such bad salsa out of a jar. Pico has no flavor, how is that even possible?!? This would probably be great Mexican food in the Midwest, but come on in Texas probably the worst I've ever had.

Update: We have been back at Fajita St a couple of times since our initial visit. My wife and I went there last night - Saturday night - and wow, the place was jumping! It was great to see so many people there for dinner. As usual, the food quality is amazingly good. The measure of a great restaurant is the consistent quality of their food. I can say that in all the times that my wife and I have eaten here, the food quality has been consistently great. Their food is strictly Tex-Mex but I tell you, the food comes to you hot, tasty and delicious. It's perfect for the ambiance of a country restaurant. My wife wants to go and eat there once a week so I hope that she takes me with her when she goes. We will go on a cold, rainy day, when it decides to rain that is! There's nothing like eating hot Tex-Mex food on a cold winter day!

Service was good but food was sub-par. Not many options to choose from in the area, but will try somewhere else next time.

Ambiance great, service and speed also great , the food however... meh. The kids cheese burger was huge and it did look amazing. But everything else we ordered was just bland.

Very good! It was right around the corner from family. The food was very good, and was warm and ready to eat. I had to get it to go. Will be back!

The tacos were pretty good and reasonably priced. I was very pleased! I would eat there again and recommend to others. I did not go inside but ordered through the drive through. The service was good, though the server was a little difficult to understand (the accent), and very quick. Too bad it closed so early on Sundays.

Went to Fajita Street in Comfort again, but this time we ate inside of the restaurant, instead of doing the drive thru. First of all, the restaurant is very pretty. They have a really nice bar area too. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I had the steak fajita street tacos. The 5 tacos come with charro beans and avocado slices and they are delicious. Hubby had the lunch special, an enchiladas verde plate, which is 2 enchiladas, rice and beans. All for $7.99. He also got corn tortillas, which are homemade and absolutely the best tortillas I've ever had. I was so full, I couldn't order dessert. Their desserts are displayed in a case and they all looked delicious. I'll have to try to save room for dessert the next time we come.

Great food, and the staff seem polite. Open till 10, which is awesome. I went in there late, around 9:30 and the takeout food came faster than I expected, and it was great. Will be going back, especially when I get that Kate night taco hunger again lol. A little expensive, which is why I gave 4 stars.

We visited Fajita St Kitchen and Grill on a Sunday morning. The place was busy. Several things we look for are a clean restaurant, which it was, the decor was appropriate for the culture, the food was good and hot and the server we had was attentive. I am a coke drinker and appreciate good cokes. They have a great coke. The Mexican music almost had me dancing! Good family restaurant, plenty of room for large parties, plenty of parking space unless they are busy! There's more parking across the street. Will we go back, claro que si.

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that gluten free options are limited (if this isn't an issue for you, read on for the positives)... First off, when we pulled into the parking lot we thought it was empty, only to realize that there is a wonderful row of parking spots very nicely shaded on the far end of the parking lot. As every Texas knows, in the summer, it is SO worth walking across any parking lot for a spot in the shade when parking at 6pm. Clearly this parking lot was filled with expert level Texans! The inside of the restaurant was new and very clean. The food we ordered was delicious and they even have Mexican coke. (hello! Real sugar, not HFCS! Loved it!) The corn tortillas were made fresh and were delicious, not like what you get from the grocery store. I would highly recommend them. Now for my gluten free info: Most Mexican food is "safe" in the gf world, but this restaurant marinates their meat (with the exception of chicken) in a marinade that contains gluten. The rice seasoning also contains gluten (this was a huge disappointment as most Mexican rice I eat is totally fine). Our waitress was very kind and went back to the kitchen twice to get this info for me, as there is no gf menu. She told me that the grilled and shredded chicken and grilled veggies don't contain gluten, but are cooked on the same grill as everything else. I decided to try the enchiladas with shredded chicken. I knew it was a risk, but it turned out fine and I didn't have any reaction, and they were delicious! But I would say, if you can't have any cross contamination, this isn't a safe place for you to eat, unless you want an avocado salad.

Had breakfast there walking inside it looked clean and nice decor. Waitstaff looked unhappy and unmotivated. My wife got the menudo which the waitress said was good once she got it, it looked unseasoned and tasted like it was out of a can not good at all. I got the Chilaquiles Verdes with fajitas for not me getting the fajitas which was 3 dollars extra my plate would've been a total bust. If your looking for a place to eat breakfast I don't recommend this one.

So anxious for a decent restaurant in Comfort. This isn't it. Worst fajitas I've had and that is a wide measure.

Our family consists of mom (me) and my 13 year old son. We can never agree on what to eat. Much less where! But, Fajita St has quickly become our go to spot. We both have favorites on the menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. We can get in and out quickly without breaking the budget. The staff is always friendly, the food is served hot and taste as great as it smells! What's not to love?!
